You’re telling me this is STILL a mess, 90+ minutes after the presale was supposed to start?!

Current waittime on Telecharge is over 1 hour. Kinda nuts

Also, there's a soundbite of her duetting with Nick on his IG."
That's actually Idina Menzel and Josh Groban from the 2008 Concert at Royal Albert Hall. All the soundbites ive heard them use so far are from that cast recording.
I chose seats, then got kicked out numerous times. When I finally got back in those seats were sold, so I said f it & bought cheaper seats. They obviously didn't want my money. And it wasn't just the seats I had clicked on previously that were gone. I would say resellers went in & bought rows that they figured they could make a profit on - like certain of the less expensive rear mezz rows and select sets of aisle seats. This is for the Sunday matinee the week before Thanksgiving, November 23.
I'm guessing there are people using bots to buy which adds to the hassles everyone was having.

Given everything that goes into ticket prices, what do people expect these prices to be? I'm very curious

Yup went on during lunch at noon and have it open out of curiousity and now it's 1:23 still waiting
Estimated waitmore than an hour
Expected arrival time on the website more than an hour
ALL A PR stunt in my eyes as this is not selling out today as the best seats will not be released!

Three times I had tickets and it crashed. I’ll buy in a week or two - it’s not selling out. It’s a Telecharge disaster, not a show rush.

I gave up and called Telecharge directly- the performance/seat I wanted was still available.

It wouldn’t let me check out twice - going to wait until later and go later in the run if needed. Disaster.

UPDATE just now
Estimated wait49 minutes
Expected arrival time on the website 2:20 PM
I finally got in exactly 2.5 hours after the alleged 11:00am on-sale time.
I didn't even attempt to make a purchase, as the date I looked at had a lot (and I do mean a LOT) of availability. If you're still waiting in the queue, don't stress; contrary to what the technical shenanigans suggest, actual sales do not appear to be brisk.

Ugh. Lesson learned: Never listen to music over your phone's speaker at arm's length. It never occurred to me that Nick would post someone else singing so I took it at face value. I was totally ready for a discussion about how this is totally not Lea's vibrato style and why the team or her decided to go the conventional route. Then this ticket buying madness started...
Now that you said it I listened on headphones and yes, that's not even Lea's voice and sounds indeed like Idina's.
I must confess I've never heard Nick before even though people say he's overdue for his big break. But why on earth would he post that without proper credit? Can't find it on his IG anymore so maybe someone called him out.
I’ve waited over an hour and am now finally at a Telecharge page that has the red button to buy tickets but the calendar is missing. Nothing is happening. I’m afraid to refresh.

Same here 2hours 5 minutes tons of tickets for all performances. Didn't plan on buying today will wait for the mailer-discount code and purchase as we always do this way for the last week of previews as we go that time and find great seats for less!

This is the first time in a while that I didn't feel the urge to immediately purchase tickets during a presale. I'll wait for discount codes too

I hadn't thought about it, but that's an interesting point. Historically, I have almost always bought tickets ASAP, but this was the first time I found myself feeling no sense of urgency. Perhaps this is because everything is just so expensive these days, and there is rarely any benefit to committing early anymore. I've found that prices and availability can fluctuate quite often and right up until the show date.

I don't think anyone expects it to sell out 5 months worth of performances.

What do you consider 'the best seats'? Do you mean that Row B won't be the front row? or ?

Finally got through. Placed order. Got an “order undefined” message and then saw my card was charged 3 times.
And no record of payment on Telecharge.
I’ve now been on hold for an hour.
This is a ****show for Telecharge. Unacceptable.

he posted it on his IG stories so it disappears after 24 hours.
the social media people for the show have also used clips from that recording and ive seen others using it too so its clearly not an issue.

I was going to get a ticket for January 24th. (Gives me something to look forward to during the dead months after Christmas & New Year's.) However, I see that Lea has a planned night off, the night before, on Friday, January 25th.
How does it usually go when performers have planned days off? Can it turn into other, surrounding days off, too? Am I best to stay away then and look for another date?

No offense meant -- but how can you expect anyone (including Lea herself) to know the answer to what might happen more than 6 months from now? Might she wake up that morning and have a scratchy throat? Maybe?? Buy a ticket for when you want to go -- and if she's out and she knows (and the show announces) in advance, you can switch dates -- and if you show up at the theatre and see signs up that she's out that day, you can get a refund.
