Christian Borle is out till May 29th. However, it may be permanent as it seems likely he'll be the new Baker in the eight week Broadway transfer of Into the Woods at St. James Theatre (provided that still happens).
It does seem odd they would release professional press shots with Andrew Call (currently playing Orin) since Skylar's run doesn't begin until 5/17 - just a handful of days before Christians return. I guess we will find out soon! I've got my fingers crossed for a Christian x ITW crossover!

I've had a pic of Mr. Call in a show from 2014 (Found at the Atlantic) as my avatar since 2014, mainly because I've never been able to figure out since then how to change it.
I only have 6 shows booked for my trip to NYC in July, with potentially 7 slots open still if I take advantage of all matinee days. This has been on my list of potentials, but it would be nice to have some certainty of casting.
After almost 3 years and several purchased tickets, I finally saw the show tonight, and I had a great time, as I expected. What I didn’t expect, though, was to be absolutely floored by Tammy Blanchard’s performance. She was the most interesting and surprising part of the show, by far, mining every last bit of pathos out of the role. She acted the sh*t out of “Somewhere That’s Green” and “Suddenly, Seymour,” to the point where I couldn’t have cared less what her voice sounded like. Not that it was bad, at all, but, in the moment, it just wasn’t my focus. In a production that was pretty much by-the-numbers, she colored outside the lines, and elevated it, significantly.

I understand some people not liking Tammy's vocal performance as Audrey, but I thought it absolutely suited the character and really sold it for me. I loved her performance (and the whole show) when I saw it a few weeks ago. I also enjoyed Andrew Call as Orin, but have been dying to see Christian Borle in the role. Sadly, I've only seen Borle as Orin in videos from whenever they did performances on TV shows and the NPR Tiny Desk concert, so I need to plan another trip soon to catch him before he moves on to Some Like It Hot in the fall. Was Borle there on the performance you attended yesterday?

Thanks for the confirmation! Glad to hear it.
I don't think they've announced when Borle's last performance will be, so when do we expect him to exit the show? I read that Some Like It Hot previews begin November 1, and assuming he'll be at rehearsals about a month before that, would it be fair to speculate that he'll be with Little Shop until end of September or so?
Does anyone happen to know if they still offer rush tix? I know they had both Rush and lottery pre-covid, but not sure if they still have rush tickets now. If they do, has anyone rushed recently?
Bought a ticket for July to replace my cancelled Hamlet date. Used the code mentioned a few pages back DIRECT921 on Telecharge offers. Really good deal, regular priced seats listed at $149 for $69.
Now if only some Bway shows that aren't selling well would have similar discounts...
