Tom Holland as Seymour is something I never thought I wanted until you said that and now I hope it comes true.

It's Skylar Astin.
He starts May 17th per Little Shop Instagram.
Skylar Astin will be good!
Wonder when Christian Borle will depart for SOME LIKE IT HOT (which doesn't have dates announced yet)
I still haven’t seen this. If not sitting center, is right or left preferred in the first 5 rows?

Personally, I would prefer left, but either would be fine. The Urchins spend a lot of time on the stoops, and they can get a little chatty. It's not too bad, but it can be distracting if you're front row on the side, since the stage is so close.

We sat in seats H1 and H3 house left and had a great view. They are right by the walkway to get in, so no one is directly in front of you and there is lots of leg room.
What will it take for Tammy to leave this show? LOL
Thanks for the tips! I got row F center on the left aisle, so I was able to stay away from the sides, which I know are kind of far over at the Westside. Just a reminder, the DIRECT921 discount code is active on Telecharge Offers through September, with all seats outside of premiums priced at $69. Starting at the beginning of May, it's looks like the first few rows center are priced high at most shows, but there are still a lot of great seats to choose from using the discount.

A paying job?
I know some people liked her performance in this, but I thought it was embarrassingly bad.

I don’t know, but I hope that when she does leave that Lena Hall is available.
Damn. I love me some Skylar, but I’m just not interested until we get a new Audrey.

Seriously. I would love to see someone else take on the iconic role of Audrey. Especially considering I found Tammy's performance to pretty much be a disaster.
The problem with Skylar is he doesn't sell any tickets if you've already seen Groff or Glick or someone else in it. They could have put the understudy on for a few months and that person might have sold as well.

What? I’ve seen Groff, Glick and Jordan and I bought a ticket to see Skylar today.
The show is selling so well because of the Seymour casting. Why would they slow the momentum and “put the understudy on for a few months”? That doesn’t make sense.

I think Skylar will sell well.
I hope to see him, but I will likely wait until Christian is back in the show. He's just as much of a draw for me. I love the way he constantly changes his performance in small ways.
Can't seem to get that code to work, perhaps they recently ended it?

Sorry, it's DIRECT921.

So with Neil Patrick Harris replacing Christian Borle in ITW is Christian back in the show in May? That would make my trip. Anyone have any intel?
I called the Westside Theatre, and they had no new info. According to them, it's still Andrew Call from 5/3-5/29.

I totally agree to the point of saying not to sit on the left side. We sat center but on house left side and we could hear them chattering from there. It's VERY distracting to the point of shifting attention away from what is going on and on to them. I may sound harsh about it - because they almost ruined the show for me.

I saw this last night…is Audrey supposed to have a drinking problem (or was the actress drinking between scenes), because it was such an odd performance.
Just want to chime in to say that I have really enjoyed Tammy years apart both times I saw it. She may not sing quite as powerfully as some past Audreys, but I think it's a pretty interesting and nuanced performance.

I’m genuinely surprised by the vitriol surrounding Tammy. While not as much of a singer, this sums up my thoughts about her (though unlike this reviewer I loved the production all together

Haha. This comment is great. She comes off drunk and hardened from her life experience which is her interpretation of Audrey. It would make sense she would drink. But, it's been over a year (total) for her playing the role, so she might be wanting to move on to something else soon.
