It would be nice if Con stuck around, but I guess we will know for sure when Matt returns.
This week's grosses, not so good. But also remember that things tend to be like this around this time of year. I am guessing things will start picking up again on a steady pace around the holidays. And they did have a few sell out days.
*OK, I am being a tad optimistic here.

In response to the questions about the stage door at matinees, I saw the show at the Saturday matinee. Everyone was in. The stage door had A LOT of Constantine fans (I would say that there were probably 60 - 80 people at the stage door, and at times it seemed like everyone except for me was there just to see Constantine), but the Connie fans were very well-behaved. The only featured cast member I didn't see was Richard Blake -- not sure if I just missed him or if he didn't come out. Most of the ensemble came out too. Everyone who came out gladly signed and posed. Con didn't come out for probably about half an hour or so, but he very patiently signed and posed for all of his fans (which took a while because they all wanted to talk to him and get pictures with him -- I have to give him credit for being incredibly patient and being extremely nice to everyone). At one point, a girl who looked like she was about twelve shrieked after meeting Constantine, "Oh my God, he said that he loved me!," which was one of the funniest things I have ever heard.
So basically, the matinee stage door is fine -- virtually everyone comes out, and the Constantine fans weren't any problem, at least when I went. I would say, though, that because there are so many people around the barricade, if you want to get signatures, you probably should leave the show quickly to make sure you get close. I stood next to the "main" exit, which was a great location because I was able to get Stephen/Tina/etc as they went around, but was also able to get the ensemble members as they were exiting (although a few people exited around the sides).

The guys play poker between shows. SOmetimes they don't come out, but they usually do.
Oh my God, he said that he loved me!," which was one of the funniest things I have ever heard.
That's freaking hysterical.

Constantine's doing a "radio tour" thing tomorrow morning. There was just a post about it on his MySpace and the stations listed. Maybe this will give "Wedding Singer" even more publicity!

Some of those radio station's stream the broadcasts. I'm hoping to catch one of them. Speculation abounds why he is doing these interviews tomorrow.
I think it'd be unusual for a Broadway show to be pimped in places so far from NYC like Oregon.

But remember who's doing the pimping. Constantine has fans all over, not just in NYC, and not all of them follow what he's doing online or anything. :) I dunno, though. LOL

Well, i've been off on the board again, so i'm a little behind. Could someone please PM the link to the scary sandwhich board? I'm curious.
THE WEDDING SINGER STORY FOR THE DAY AS TOLD BY PARIS:
For no apparent reason, a bunch of jocks/cheerleaders in my homeroom came up to me and started questioning me about the show and they were actually really, really interested. I pulled out my iPod and let them listen to "Saturday Night in the City" and "Let Me Come Home". So today during homeroom, half of them came up to me and told me that they went to Borders and bought the CD and they were thinking about seeing it during the summer!
AH! I love promotion. I know the likely hood of the show being open for that long is very, very slim, but it was still good news to me!

But...I think word really got around about Tina playing Julia...so many people saw her in Mamma Mia and now with her cute little Mamma Mia hair cut back you hear alot of...you were the girl in Mamma Mia I loved you in that show...Your so cute ..your so great..Im just not sure why the producaers did not get Tina's name out there when Laura first took a medical leave...
Broadway's bride say Ido..AGAIN!!!..god I mean I could do better press for this show then these wedding singer dorks...sorry alot on the mind!!!

The Today Show has been doing the wedding segment ALL year. AND the cast of the Wedding Singer as promotion for the show and the wedding contest on June 8, 2006 performed "Its Your Wedding Day" and "Grow Old With You" live in Rockefeller Center.
