(Is that line even in the musical? I never got to see it live).

My money is on her being the French teacher on the first day of school as an ode to theEmily in Parisfandom.

I'm super curious on Kevin G. casting. Back when Tina had her little fancast submission thing, I put down Karan Brar from Disney, and he's only 24 so he's near the rest of the cast in age (ie. Christopher Briney is 24, Renee Rapp 23, Auli'i and Anjourie 22). Not sure if he sings/raps though, and I don't know many other MENASA actors in that age range.
"

Who did you put for the other roles?

Is Paramount giving this a theatrical release,or is it going to Paramount + only. One would think this deserves a theatrical release of some kind.

Yeah, this is a win for the film, and also indicates that Paramount is probably worried about their box office performance for 2024, considering they have some half-finished films that will be delayed due to the strikes.

When HOCUS POCUS 2 dropped on Disney+, everyone lamented that it could have made some solid money in theaters. This will test that.

Renee Rapp's star power also seems to be growing by the day with this new album and tour? So maybe they can capitalize on some of that.

Not true anymore. January is a month that shoots out some surprising hits.

Scream (2022) was a highly anticipated film and was released in January, which turned out to be a good decision.

I’ve actually heard it has been scoring very well at its test screenings. Still, it is pretty clear the reason this is opening in theaters is because of the strike and the lack of product Paramount will have with having to move things around.

I truly don’t get the need for this, but if it’s good and people enjoy iit and it may make new theatre fans, good on it.

“It Roars” and “Do This Thing” are good cuts but it sounds like they should’ve kept “Where Do You Belong?”.

The new last names just don’t work in my mind. I’m all for cast diversification, but that does not necessarily mean character names have to be updated as well. Unless, of course, authenticity is the goal or Avantika and Cravalho aren’t okay with “Smith” and “Sarkisian.”
