Who is the prettiest Elphaba?
My choice is Victoria Matlock.

I always thought Eden Espinosa and Julia Murney looked the prettiest in green. :3

Posted: 3/6/07 at 8:26amIs Victoria Matlock... chunky? From the pictures I have seen of her, she looks wider than most Elphabas.

i think this thread demonstrates whats wrong with society. who gives a S--t who is the prettiest elphaba. I am so glad people care about that crap. I thought theater was about the soul and the artistry and the art, not which person is physically more appealing. and the reason why this thread sucks is because you are now saying some of them are ugly by comparison. Everything is generated by its opposite.
Let's try and find a nicer topic.

Posted: 3/6/07 at 2:29pmUgh! Well obviously, Kringas, your first mistake was not using the water based Mac Chormocake in Landscape Green! The official make-up of Elphaba! Applied, of course, with a Japanese brush first along the jaw line and face and then you use the smaller detailing brush for the hairline and ears. And it looks like you didn't use enough finishing powder in addition to the purple and brown contours and the Golden Olive pigment powder to add sparkle...

"Whooooah, anger management!"
Tell that to munk.
I would have to give an honorable mention to the Elphapug. Not the prettiest, perhaps, but certainly the cutest and cuddliest.

though i hear what you're saying massofmen.. the only thing i would like to say is.. go listen to "dance 10; looks 3" from a chorus line.
and i think that all the elphies have their own flair about them, making it difficult to compare.

Posted: 3/6/07 at 3:13pmI read the book many years ago, and saw the musical when it opened - but in my recollection - isn't Elphaba supposed to be pretty ugly?
