That song rocked...

It did! I didn't know he wrote it, but now that explains it.
Way to go, Marc! It reminded me of when he played piano for the Sweeney Sisters on SNL as Skip St. Thomas.
I recognized him right away, but I didn't realize he'd written it.
GOOD MORNING BROADWAYWORLD!
He co-wrote it...
Just glad that this song made it on the air - unlike two years ago..

The song with Will Ferrell, Jack Black, and John C. Reilly.
Maybe it will be up on that site.
It was hysterical. Way to go Marc!

I didn't realize that was him. My roommate and I died during that. So so funny!
Oh cool...I missed the introduction of the song but saw just about all of it, but didn't realize he wrote it. It was funny.

This show is going way past. I bet crew will get paid overtime wages for this.
once i saw Marc playing, i KNEW he had to have written it. it was totally his smart style i love :)
Way to go, Uncle Marc! Loooooved it, and what a trio!
I saw Marc at the piano. I figured he wrote it. I enjoyed it.
I just watched it on the naughty, forbidden site...very funny!
I saw Marc on E on the red carpet. It was the cutest thing.
Sad I missed his song.
He was all smiles. Loved the plug Travolta gave to Hairspray.
Why couldn't they talk more about it. It was funny.
I am really excited for the movie. The new Tracy looks so cute.

I didn't even see him to be honest-- I was too busy laughing that was by far the best thing that happen on a supremely boring night. Oh yeah and mercifully Al Gore did not declare his candidacy for the 2008 Presidential race.
You got to love Marc Shaiman. He was hysterical in Martin Short.
I went many times just to see him play the piano. (The best part was when he would crack up and make Jenkins crack up)
Loved the song. Absolutely hysterical. Great job, Marc!
Did anyone notice that the orchestra played a verse of "You Can't Stop the Beat" as Latifah and Travolta entered? I loved that.
