I think gossip until the show officially announces.
Personally, I hope it’s true gossip.
Consider the source - The Sudiferous One who has the prediction accuracy of a broken clock.
Considering John Cameron Mitchell has not yet even started his run- and that run lasts through the end of April- we won't be getting the next confirmed casting for quite some time.

That too. Usually the contract is signed and announced around six weeks prior to the start of their run (based on pattern). Also, I would anticipate that the next casting announcement after JCM would also include an show extension announcement, since there are only 12 weeks between when JCM ends and the current end date of July 5, 2026.
(and no…I am NOT saying that the show is going to close)

Stop giving the sweaty oracle clicks.
Sloppy pathetic wannabe clout chaser.
In defense of macbeth, it was picked up by PopBase and is currently viral on Twitter where most people who aren’t discerning get their news. The problem here is that they used them as their “source”, which is no better than using a blind item from Deuxmoi

But wasn’t he right about Beaches and Titanique? Hate the dude all you want but he’s had some good inside knowledge. And Maya would be a slam dunk. Now give me Rachel Dratch for the tour.

If MY sources are correct, Dratch will be on Broadway soon in another show. It sounds insane to me so I’m still not 100% sure but if true it’ll be amazing. Should be announced very soon either way.

Isn’t Dratch going to be in High Spirits? Is that transferring? It sounds great from the teasers they’ve released.

Sorry I heard it from Oracle first, sorry you weren't the one to break the news. You were the second person. Darn, someone "broke the news" before you. So sad for you :(

Had just assumed that’s where you heard it as well. My bad. I don’t follow him but he’s right a lot of the time so.

If she were 20 years younger, I would KILL to see her in Operation Mincemeat as either Jean-Leslie or Bevan
My prediction, based on almost zero factual evidence, is that Jinkx will tour with the show. She is the right level of niche famous: well known enough to sell tickets but also not too famous to be willing to tour, has a built-in fanbase across the states, and has shown willingness to return to the role. I have heard reports that she has cleared her schedule for the fall, but don't know how accurate that is - the tour would likely conflict with her usual holiday show with Ben De La Creme. I'll see it no matter who's in it, but I'd love for this to happen.

I'm heading to NY in May so would be amazing to see Maya in this role.
This is confirmation of nothing, but Jinkx also teased Krakowski prior to her announcement -
Jinkx brought up Maya randomly on Ilana Glazer’s “It’s Open” podcast (‘I met Maya Rudolph last night and we were all asking, “when are YOU going to play Mary?”’) while talking about Oh, Mary. She ever so loosely tied it to “it’s written so anyone can put their stamp on the part” but…
My tin-foil-hat wishes are for Maya to do Broadway and Jinkx the tour.
Her and Dela didn’t start their 2025 tour until mid November, and OM is a short tour (as of right now) starting in September. Possibly more cities to be announced for 2027 with Jinkx, or continuing 2026 with another lead?

Colbert was on Seth Meyers Tuesday night and Seth told him he wants to see him as Mary.
Colbert strikes me as being much more of a Lincoln- and he'd be pretty brilliant one, at that.
My dream for a bit was Amy Sederis as Mary and Colbert as Abraham. Amy's said she doesn't think she could do it 8 shows a week (valid) and I will note they seem to be reserving Abe as a role for POC and AAPI actors, which I think is an excellent precedent to set. But if they're going to bend that rule for anyone, I'd want it to be Colbert. Or Nick Offerman.
Sedaris was at a lunch gathering this past Tuesday and me and a friend asked her about OH, MARY! and she confirmed Cole asked her before Betty Gilpin but she declined. She also said just doing one performance is too taxing for her let alone 8 a week. She’d have jumped at the offer decades ago.

This looks more like Amy Spanger than Amy Sedaris.
Amy Sedaris also said on Cole’s episode of “Good Hang” that there was no way she’d do Oh, Mary! She just doesn’t have the confidence in her physical ability (or desire) to do it 8x a week. A shame. She’d be out of this world.
