How was the rush crowd?
I am excited for Meghann! Isn't this the first time she has ever gone on at all since she started in Arlington?

Earliest people got there at about 4:00 I think... those who got the last tickets and had gotten there at like 5:00 AM. I was towards the back of the line but that's what I had heard!

Jennifer's due back for tomorrow's performance right?

This is the first show Jenn has missed in the entire Broadway run and the Arena run. She missed 2 shows when they were at Second Stage.

I'll be there tonight. I did not rush, though. I'll be in orchestra row J.

Let it be said that I think Jen is wonderful. But it IS always exciting it hear about a understudy getting stage time!
Break a leg, Miss Fahy!!!!
Can't wait to hear (hopefully wonderful) things about it!!

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

I know it doesn't count for much, but she sounded good in the understudies concert on YouTube. I'm sure she will do great.

I know there was certainly people there before 4 am, so people got there at 4 freaking pm the day before? That's crazy.

Wait, 4PM?! No way. That's absolutely ridiculous!
He/she has gotta mean 4AM. But even that's crazy.

I wish he did, but reports from a friend said by midnight there were 3 people in line!

I heard there was someone that got there around 11 pm last night.

This makes sense to me. I saw the show on tuesday, and her voice sounded a little strained to me . I hope that Meghann does better than the other understudies who have gone on in the past couple of weeks.

I saw a facebook status last night at 11:25 PM from someone who said they were the third person on the line. So, 4 PM is probably true.
Absolutely ridiculous, and I think it's about time they switched over to a lotto.

Everyone who got the center front row slept out there all night and the rest of the front row was gone by about 4:45 this morning. I'm pretty sure the boxes were also gone shortly after 5am.

They should really switch over to a lotto.

Some people are sick in the head. Really.
They need to make it lotto SOON. It seems the same people rush over and over again, so I doubt the lotto would get Wicked/WSS crowds.
LOTTO, PLEASE!

Staying in line for 12+ hours to see an understudy is completely f*cked up.

Exactly! I kind of understood when it was Pattis's last GYPSY.
But a no name understudy with no Broadway credits? Really?

But ljay,I NEED to see all the understudies everytime they're on or I'M NOT A TRUE FAN!!

So people were lining up that early to see specifically the understudy? Or is it really getting that insane on a daily basis?
It seems almost unfathomable that people would make an understudy such a priority! And it's not like Natalie isn't amazing or anything!

Yup! That perfectly sums up these fans who are rushing every day, and camping out. When the show opened, it didn't have many fans like this, yet. While I am glad the show has a growing fanbase... it's kind of creepy.
