just curious if anyone here has actually won the broadway lottery for this show yet? I know tons of people (like myself) who enter daily but don't really know anyone who's won yet. Also if you did win, what seats did you get?

Have heard of individuals winning. Seats seem to be far left and right of the balcony. (from what I remember.)

No luck yet, though I did win the lottery for the first preview performance off-Broadway, so I can't complain.
Lotteries hosted on TodayTix are hard to win. With maybe 2/3rds of their shows, I can go the entire run without winning the lottery. With Telecharge lotteries, I eventually win everything, Prima Facie was the only exception. Broadway Direct lotteries also are winnable but can take up to 6 months.

A few people have posted on Reddit about lottery wins:

According to the posters, Balcony A20 and A22 are lottery seats and are partial view.

When it was off-broadway, all seats for the first two performances were sold through the lottery. I don't have numbers but my guess is it was slightly easier to win back then given the number of seats available. Your lottery seat was definitely a better view than the balcony partial view the Broadway lottery winners are seated in.

Does anyone know what the scheduled absences are? I clicked a date and the ticket prices were marginally cheaper but it wanted me to acknowledge that Radcliffe wasn't going to be at the performance. I'm trying to figure out if there's a date I can go sit in the balcony or if it's better to just keep trying rush in the spring. Also, I've never been in the Hudson... how bad are those last two balcony rows?

From the TodayTix website:
"Daniel Radcliffe will not appear in the following performances: Tues 4/2 through Weds 4/3, Thurs 5/30 through Sun 6/2. Jonathan Groff will not appear in the following performances: Tues 4/16 through Weds 4/17"

Thanks... I can see it on TodayTix but not on the website for the show, weirdly.
There's no real rush to grab those seats from the dates I checked. I could wait for a TodayTix discount or just buy from the box office when I'm back in the city.

Thru the website, the message shows up only when you click on one of those dates to buy tickets. (They weren't asking YOU to confirm an absence, but just to confirm you knew you were buying tickets for a date he was out.)

They are fine...it is an intimate theatre.

Thanks, I was just poking around the previews thread trying to figure out which balcony seats are supposed to be obstructed

Does anyone have experience sitting in row B of the balcony for this show and can comment on how good the view is?

This person seemed to like it. There are actually a few pictures from Row B of the balcony if you go to the seating chart.

I won the lottery a few months ago after entering daily both off and on Broadway. Seats were front balcony house right. Since the balcony is a U shape, about a third to half the stage is obstructed by lighting fixtures. For the parts you can see, it's a great view for the price. If you can swing it, this show is absolutely worth the splurge IMO.
