After just joining Broadway World I must say that I am impressed with how great the message boards look. Thanks for making the improvements.

I don't love when you go to quote someone, and their text is very small.  Then, when you comment on their comment, the text is also small.  Is there anyway around that?  I use Chrome.   I also miss just being able to highlight someone's statement and paste it.

I'm getting an annoying "share" bar on the left of my screen - vertical boxes for facebook, twitter, email, and print.  I don't get his on other sites or message boards - and I don't know how to make them go away.

That shouldn't be displaying on the message board at all... I think I've now re-removed it.

How do I keep an ad (NTI something) appearing every 2-3 seconds while I am trying to read the message boards. By the time I have just tried to remove it it has appeared again.  Very annoying! Don't know if this is the right thread but wanted to bring up! Thanks for any assistance!

Rob, since you're so responsive, might as well put another piece of unsolicited feedback in the suggestion box.  Would be nice to have a "subscribed threads" function wherein you could click a link and then only see threads that you've contributed to and/or ones you've tagged as being interested in.

hi Rob,

I'm still having the problem where, if I click on the last message in a thread on my cell phone, a blank page comes up. 

Also, I kind of liked the old format where the thread starter was the side column, like it still is on the mobile version.  I'm used to the desktop version now, but I still prefer the old system.

Anyone else having this problem?  You try to go back and edit a post - say to correct a typo, fix some embed code, add a picture - whatever.  And after you're done editing the post you're taken to a security page wherein you have to input a Captcha phrase.  Not a big deal.  A common security element.  But, it never works for me.  Everytime I input the captcha phrase and click submit, I'm taken to a blank page and my original post remains unedited.  And, no, I don't have any viruses or malware.

Rob, I'm not saying this only because your pic is super cute (what's your sign?), but you could seriously teach much bigger organizations a thing or two about customer service and responsiveness.  

 

Imagine if Rob ran the customer experience at Time Warner or Comcast.

I've just noticed that if I 'update' my post, the formatting changes and it shifts from multiple paragraphs to all one big paragraph.

And, HorseTears, we could only hope! Always so grateful to Rob for his responsiveness!

Got another one for you, Rob.  Multi-quote capabilities.  The ability to quote more than one message in your response to a thread.  For example: you're in a "I'm obsessed with Sondheim, he's the best, you guyyyys" thread created by AfterEight and you want to reference 2 different responses - one from Fantod and Namo.

Rob: For some reason, I can't edit any of my posts after I submit them. This started recently after I changed my email address in the settings. Do you know what's wrong?

It looks like you'd changed your email for this account to an address that was already in our system. I removed the other account which I think should clean up the problems with this one. If not, shoot me a PM or email.

Seeing them again, Rob.  Now a lot more frequently, too and not just when editing a prior post, but when even when starting a new reply/post to an existing thread.

Hello the pop-up ads are back they appear every 2-3 seconds just in time when I close an ad a new one appears. Help plz?! Thanks very much! Is there anything I should adjust in my settings?

If you download an ad blocker, most of those ads will be totally eliminated. Most will work as an app on your browser.
