There should be a clue musical based off the movie of course.

I disagree on the movie. I think the great cast helps, but it's very much a seventies and eighties style farce, and I think the script works on its own.
"Clue the Musical" is decidedly not great. Much like "The Addams Family," there was a great adaptation to adapt from, but the creative chose to make a fresh adaptation and struck out.
I just got word from an inside source that Annaleigh Ashford will be playing Scottie Dog and Jeremy Jordan will be playing Wheelbarrow. There are currently offers out to Liza Minnelli for Top Hat and Laura Benanti for Thimble.
They/them.

I'd be on board for Clue but I'm not so sure about Monopoly. It's never been one of my favorite games. Clue is probably my favorite movie ever though and I agree that part of the appeal is the cast but the same could be said about almost every movie to musical adaptation.

Who is your knowledgable source?

I really like monopoly and its subculture replete with some of our most enduring icons: Boardwalk, Get Out Of Jail Free, Go Directly to Jail, Rich Uncle Pennybags (I had to look up his name but we all recognize him), Free Parking, and the whole Atlantic City connection.
The problem with Clue is that you need at least 3 players.
