Wondering what house they'll be playing. Could do well at the Winter Garden.
Well, as exciting as the posts are, it’s not so much “official” just yet. I am PRAYING for an announcement as soon as possible! And yes, Winter Garden, please!

I don't think they'd post something like that unless they were certain of a transfer. Hopefully, it's this season too.
The plan has been Broadway all along. They need some time to work on things and I think they will. I was we’ll hear news after closing. The cast has been doing a lot of the, “We’ll let you know when we know!” on instagram, but they’ve several have posted things like being excited to come back to in 6 months in their stories.
The question is really just where and when. But I think it looks like they’ve got the cast ready for the transfer, since Aaron posted on his Instagram story about being excited to “do this all again” with Karen tagged as well.
I mean. The Instagram page has always been named moulinrougebdwy. I don’t this is official just yet. I’d hold off until they announce dates and a venue(even then we can’t be sure it’s gonna happen.... Rebecca.... NERDS).
This is a different beast than Nerds or Rebecca. It’s being produced by competent people.
The "proper" way to do it is to wait for the closing notice of the current tenant of the Theatre they are going into.
I also hope it's this season, we need a hit or two.

If it is indeed the Winter Garden (and I have no idea if it is or not), then that's already happened. They announced a January 2019 closing about a month ago.
If this is indeed going into the Hirschfeld, then Kinky Boots needs to announce a closing date first. Won't hear anything until that happens first.
Just please give Ziegler his solos back. Burstein needs his Tony, dammit!

I think he’s a Tony frontrunner even without Zidler’s bigger numbers from the movie. Burstein is electric.

It's almost definitely not this season. The lead producers are the same as King Kong and they don't want to compete with themselves for the technical awards at the 2019 Tonys.
BroadwayConcierge: I miss Like a Virgin and his rap anyway. I was so excited to see them on stage, especially Danny performing them
So... Winter Garden or Al H. for Moulin? I beg for it to hold off until Kinky is done and the Al H is empty. Would fit perfectly in there!
I was told by an employee of the Emerson Colonial tonight, that they are now planning a NY Workshop 8n the summer with a fall of '19 as an opening.
Cannot vouch for any accuracy.

Didn’t they have a two-month lab last fall? Seems a little strange that they’d do a workshop after a critically acclaimed, sold-out tryout out of town. I’d strike while the iron is hot.

When was the last time the producers said this though? I’m sure things might have changed after seeing the success of the tryout.
There are some extensive changes they have to make and want to make. They did a lot of teching and rehearsing in Boston and it let them see that some things aren’t working and some are magical. The creatives and cast are excited to take this far.

I’m just finally glad to see a creative team willing to take the time to fix problems with a show instead of rushing it in half baked
I was grabbing a coffee when I was in Boston seeing the show and the dance captain was in line behind me. I complimented her about the show and told her how much I enjoyed it, but she sensed I was hesitating and while laughing goes, “BUT....?” And I told it was too long some song moments just felt too “extra.” I have no doubt that the conversation never went anywhere further then that, but I appreciated open minds.

about time, hopefully Karen will get her second tony. I heard a bootleg and she deserves it . A wonderful tony worth performance. I saw Roxanne and Aaron deserves his first tony nomination. The sets costumes choreography will not just get nominated they will win. Danny will not just get a nomination he will win his first.

IF the info is correct, it means they want some eyes on it before it goes back in front of a paying audience. I appreciate that.
