Ivy will probably get a stern warning instead of fired. Her bff is the composer and her mom is Bernadette Peters. But she's probably not finished acting out, so, she might push the boundaries further.
Derek never lets Karen finish a sentence. She needs to slap him every time that happens.

Of course now I assume everyone knows, but wasn't Ivy keeping it a secret that that was her mom--or at least not advertising it? Hence the surprise when she came in.
since each shows' swings(or at least some of them) are backstage at each show, couldn't they just get a swing to replace Ivy when they couldn't find her??
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

And can one chorine lock the door to the dressing room like that?
Do the other girls take keys onstage with them to get back in?
Oh, and I did like the circle of lifenisity of BDJ beating up Michael Swift outside the door of An Iliad. Too bad Denis O'Hare didn't show up with a sword to smite him.
Just watched the latest episode. Can they not keep the camera at eye level with Huston or above? I don't mean to sound cruel, but she was looking a bit Too Wong Foo in some of those scenes. Like Jim Bachus as Anjelica Huston as Moriticia Addams as Powerful Female Broadway Producer From Manhattan.
And dear God, that Times Square scene was PAINFUL to watch. Even more painful than seeing Riedel on my TV screen. I'm still trying to figure out why they desperately wanted us to dislike nearly every character in the show. Especially after working so hard to make many of them sympathetic. WHAT DO THEY WANT FROM US??? Thank you Wesley Taylor for being the glue that holds this show together. For me, at least.

They have to lock up so nobody steals Ivy's dolls.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
Oh, yes, and Daniel Davis as the personal assistant could give Ellis a run for his money and add an extra layer of verisimilitude to all the Broadway sliminess and nasty characters.

The new number Borle performs next week is cute, but really every single number they are 'writing' for this new Marilyn musical sounds almost identical. I get it that Whitman/Shaiman are mostly just crafting an assortment of up-beat musical numbers that can play as stand-alone Marilyn references for each specific episode, but if the characters are complaining Tom and Julia have 'no show' its because MARILYN (or is it BOMBSHELL now) basically just has one song repeated over and over.
I want to know who they are going to cast to play Truman Capote and Shelley Winters.

the show has landed a star, the mercurial Rebecca Duvall (guest star Uma Thurman), but Eileen (Anjelica Huston) is thrown into a panic when Rebecca gets stuck in Cuba. Derek (Jack Davenport) puts Karen (Katharine McPhee) in as understudy, but she must learn to perform under extreme pressure as he threatens to break her will.
Wait, is there another workshop already scheduled? Did they finish the book? Why would Karen be under extreme pressure if this is just another workshop? And wouldn't they wait until Uma got back from Cuba? This makes no sense to me. Can one of you more connected with the actual process care to clarify?
