Just ordered mine. I'm leaving for vacation Wednesday--any chance I'll have it by Tuesday?
Feels like Christmas!! Can't wait!!! =
Thanks, BK!!
I love this line from your Harvey Evans interview:
"Good choreography tells a story, bad choreography is a series of back handsprings."
Just adding to the chorus of CAN NOT WAIT.

Pal Joey, there's a shot. If you JUST ordered it it will most likely ship today.
Hey I'm one of the international orders!!
Calm down dear, so am I - and there's only a few hours between the first and second shipping.

Most of the internationals went out yesterday - the handful that were left, probably fifty, went out this morning and the helper is on her way to the office to ship whatever came in yesterday and this morning.
Just got my copy!!! Excellent work. Love all the pictures. It's like I'm hearing it for the first time. I will be listening nonstop this weekend. Thanks BK and Kritzerland!!!

Wow that was fast! So happy to hear you like it!
Wow!!!!
Listening to my copy now. A whole new experience. THANK YOU!
Mine came today and I just finished listening to it for the 1st time and it was indeed a magical musical trip for me. Thanks for including "One More Kiss" with Justine Johnson and Victoria Mallory. It was truly stunning and made me cry! Thanks for bringing new life to a recording that I own on vinyl but now can listen to whenever I want on a CD--I'm a Follies-Aholic out and proud!
Damn you people who I assume live in or by LA and gettingit already. I hope it shows up here by the end of next week.
I was just thinking, this is the nicest thread on BroadwayWorld! A bunch of people sharing information, showing appreciation for a great show (Follies), and a talented person who took the time to do justice to the recording (bk). No snarks, no insults, just thanks! And on that note, I'm going to wait by my mailbox now!

Looking forward to receiving my copy! The samples posted made me very excited. It sounds like a brand new show.

Just for the record, living "by" LA isn't all it's cracked up to be. Palm Springs mail goes from LA northwest to San Bernardino and then is allowed to sit and gather mold. Only then it is handed to the Pony Express riders who work in shifts to bring mail to the desert.
Even if I mail a letter to my next-door neighbor, it will still go to San Bernardino and sit for awhile. No one knows why.
Whee! I'm going to be spending the entire day waiting for the mailman!
Just got mine this morning! (in Seattle for the geography/receive trackers)
I just put it on and the beautiful prologue is stunning. Thanks again Bruce! I know this is a dream come true for you and many others. Wheeee!!!!! It's a miracle it was the mixing of the recording that has always been the issue. We can bemoan the cuts to the score 'till the cows come home, but this remix/remaster is a revelation.
Just got mine (Los Angeles area) and it is FANTASTIC. Even with the great samples, this exceeds expectations. Thanks, Bruce!
It's also amazing how much more alive the performances have become. They're the same takes I've been hearing for years, yet they sound brand new.
Scripps if you get yours before me, it will be handbags at dawn!

These comments make me very happy and I will pass them on to my engineer, John Adams, who knows what I like and is an incredible collaborator. I'm also passing some of them on to Mr. Sondheim.
Just got to "One More Kiss" and "Could I Leave You." WOW.
Agreed with Mildred on the freshness of the takes. It's like I've never heard the score before.
Got mine today (Midwest representing)!
Listening to it now on the big Bose system downstairs. Holy crap! This sounds like a new recording.
Thanks for the aural time machine, bk. Miraculous!
I love the packaging design, photos used, disc label, etc. First-class in all respects.
EDIT: LOVE the crisp, clean separation of the instruments on "Road You Didn't Take." Wow.
"I'm Still Here" = Heaven
It might be my speakers but was there some irreparable damage to Broadway Baby? Seems to be a bit of hiss there, but again, could be my listening device.
