Come on, it's not like they're gonna have a tour lined up or anything. After they close on broadway that's it. They might as well broadcast it on PBS.

I feel like I heard that the Lincoln Center tape was filmed already... like, months ago. Saturday's filming is definitely for PBS.

If they film both, they'll edit the finish copy with pieces of both. Like different angles or if someone cracks on a note etc.

They could also have it set up for different camera angles for each show, for close-ups and such.

if anyone's going by the stage door tonight or anytime soon, can someone ask the actors and get back to us?
this sounds too good to hope for, i'm hoping for an official announcement as well... it's going to be devastating if I believe it and it turns out it was heresay.
it's not going to be quite the same as watching raul sing "being alive" from the front row, but definitely better than nothing!!
