Who's going?? Very interested to hear your thoughts.
^ I second that!! Dying to know what is like, specially the choreography and if they left some of the original by Bob Fosse
I see it the week after next. Very excited.
Yes, some of it is still Fosse. Look up the threads from when it was in Cambridge.
(and it's wonderful -- I hope NY agrees!)

I'm watching it in May...the production in Cambridge was spectacular.

I just hope this show doesn't take any business away from BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S.
Cast recording was already announced. I believe the release date is in May, but I have no idea when.
I'll be curious what changes or improvements were made. Has anyone been reading the BWW blogs from Molly Tynes? I found it interesting to read about their preparation process, etc.
Re: cast recording - Don't they generally do them about a week after the opening?
There really is no "generally" about cast recordings. They can happen at any time. Sometimes they wait to see if the producers feel it is warranted to put out the extra money. (Some pretty knowledgable folks estimate it costs approx 20K to produce an OBR)
I'm going to look for the original announcement of the recording....
^I don't think they ever officially announced it. There was just a contest on their facebook page to sit in on the recording session. That's a pretty good indication that there will be one, but I don't remember an official announcement.
^ You may be right, as I can't find one. I wonder where I got a May release date in my head....hmmmmmmmm.
No rush policy has been announced yet. Anyone heard anything?
Gosh, I hope NY likes this. I loved it in Cambridge....

I think it was just something I had read or heard a couple of years back while perusing one of the theater sites. It might've only been pertinent to a particular production at the time.

It's been selling quite well. I hear there won't be any rush for at least a week.
Glad to hear it. I can't wait for the cd to be released.
anyone know who the added swings are, or is Brad Musgrove still the only swing in the show?? Also curious about the u/s as playbillvault.com doesn't have all the understudies listed.
Walked past the theater earlier. I still hate the led marquee but love the multicolor lights they put in under it over the entrance. Quite festive.
Sitting in the mezz, waiting for the show to begin. If I can figure out how to upload a picture I will.
