So there is a Tik Tok and (I assume) YouTube singer (Marthasupersecretspam)who was invited by Steven Slater to go to the open audition for Spring Awakening. And they had her singing a duet from the show with Jack Wolfe. Did we know that he had been cast?

Confirmed to be a lie. Jack Wolfe posted a story saying he's in the UK, not NYC. The girl has doubled down, but really she's just leaning into the bit for attention. Nothing notable here.

Not sure what’s wrong with that? From a cast of 11 plus understudies, if 2 are formerly non-Equity and get this job from an open call, I’d say that’s a win. They were never going to cast the majority of the cast from a group of total unknowns. They also acknowledge in the article that they weren’t expecting the turnout they got. Whittling that group down to 100 to fold into the additional 100 appointments leaves a pretty good chance they’ll cast more than 2.

Rehearsals start late October. November 27th 1st preview -- and Dec, 17 (on or about) opening. Running into February with extensions planned....

They are probably not worried about tickets selling.

Sucks, I had a bad feeling about it as we got further along with no dates yet. I'll be back in April, hopefully it's still running. If not may have to try and plan a cheeky short weekend trip in January or February

No cast and no dates before it goes on sale. Bizarre.
