It's a zig zag to get to box office window but they have greeters as you enter and at every corner so they will guide you there. The staff there is incredibly attentive and helpful. The building is on the south side on W. 42nd Street and a tad confusing as it's in an enormous modern building. Just walk in and they'll take care of you.
Box Office is on the second floor, up the stairs from the first floor entrance area. Their are people who will guide you, no problem.
The set doesn't feel done on a budget at all - it serves it's purpose well and with flair. Wigs are great, I don't get people's initial anger at Charity's wig - she's not exactly rich!
Saw the show last night, it was really incredible. Sutton sounds amazing and the choreography is really wonderful. Emily Padgett was also amazing, as was the whole ensemble really. Joel Perez was also fantastic - his singing in Rhythm of Love and the song in the movie star's apartment (sorry I forget!) were fantastic as well.
Those are some of the worst orchestrations I've ever heard. Jeez could they really not squeeze a trumpet in there somewhere? AND THAT WIG!?!?! What is going on with that?!?!?!
calm down you will be okay

Call down where? Please tell me, I'm concerned for my safety!!
i've also now heard the production through a...less than reputable source, and think it sounds great. I forget the pipes that Joel has on him, and its great that he plays three characters and gets three great songs. Sutton sounds terrific. I'd love a transfer to Broadway (and a recording).

Also, the set design is stellar - not low-budget at all. Vittorio Vitale's luxurious apartment is very well presented in its minimal design. The brick wall and its doorways are cleverly used throughout the show.
"
I agree with this. I did not feel cheated at all by the lack of set. It's why I think it would be a good fit for a theater like Circle in the Square.
Playbill reports the only thing standing in the way of a Broadway transfer is Foster's TV schedule.

According to the Post, the only thing standing in the way is Foster’s shooting schedule for her hit TV series Younger.
I'm pretty confident Sutton has said that Younger would not interfere any theatre she does since it films in New York right? But maybe the schedule for the upcoming season is hectic.
Here's a clip of Sutton performing "If My Friends Could See Me Now."

Not usually a huge Sutton fan but she's certainly exuding some Gwen Verdon charm there! This is a much better fit for her than The Wild Party.
Who is Foster's u/s? And does anyone have a list of the u/s for this show?
Female Swing (u/s Charity, Nickie, Helene): Lori Ann Ferreri
Male Swing, Dance Captain: Ryan Worsing
Just saw the final preview. I so want this to transfer, but even in a smaller house I feel nothing will recreate the intimacy of this production in this space. Leigh Silverman has created a bold new CHARITY and I'll never see the piece the same again. Every cast member is memorable and strong in their own right.
This may be Sutton's best role yet. It showcases her physical comedy chops (THE SANDWICH!!), dance skills, voice (the new vocal arrangements are lovely), and the new (?) ending allows her to really dig deep.
Joel Perez is the secret glue holding it all together. Each of his characters are full realized. Padgett & Ghebremichael are lovely, and special shoutout to Nikka Graff Lanzarone who I couldn't take my eyes off of in the dance sequences. I'm not 100% sold on Hensley's Oscar...but his strange interpretation actually makes the final scene between Oscar & Charity make sense.
Bergasse does his own thing playing with Fosse's style and I loved it. I heard some people saying they wished the ensemble was bigger but I thought it worked just fine.
If this transfers I think a third Tony is most certainly in Sutton's future. Also I met most of the cast in the lobby after the show and they could not have been nicer. Sutton took the time to sign, talk, and take pictures with everyone. A class act. Happy Opening tomorrow to the cast & crew!!
Cant wait to see the reviews, then I finally see the production on Wednesday!!

I'm excited to hear your thoughts!! I think you'll love it.
Thanks!! I'm hoping for the best. The word of mouth is very encouraging.
I wouldn't guarantee a Tony to any leading female. We'll [likely] have Sutton, Midler, LuPone, Ebersole & either Noblezada, Soo or Osnes. At this point, nobody's a lock to win this award.
ACL2006 - I did not mean this year. 2017-2018 season. A transfer seems near impossible with the YOUNGER shooting schedule.
It should go into Studio 54 and it probably will.
Kevin McCollum is commercially attached to it. I doubt it would go to Roundabout.
Then perhaps Circle in the Square in the spring

It wouldn't go to Roundabout, per say, but it might possibly rent out the space for a limited engagement run. I think that is the wrong theater for this production, but I wouldn't rule it out entirely if they really needed a theater.
