FYI, Seth & James are on "vacation" this week and SITH will have guest co-hosts all this week. February 3 will be a Rebecca Luker celebration & Feb. 5 will be an Ann Reinking celebration.
Chita's birthday celebration this past Saturday was wonderful. I still catch one or two episodes each week. Their game nights are fun but tend to last about two hours.
I have to wonder how much longer they'll continue to do their show with Broadway reopening in September. They had some great episodes around their anniversary back in March. But lately they've only been doing 4 or 3 shows a week. This week they only have 2 shows scheduled. Maybe once they reach the $1 million mark they could stop?
Stars in the House will have their first "in-person" show next Wednesday, June 30.

Honestly, like it or not I feel like Seth and James should have been given honorary Tony Awards in the upcoming ceremony. They didn't have to do what they did to keep the ghostlight on during the darkness. Or at least some acknowledgement.

Will their first "in-person" show be their last show?

Don't think so. Though Seth just ended his concert series he's been doing on Sundays. I give them another month.
I know this is a benefit, but I really hope Seth and James have been getting paid for STARS IN THE HOUSE. 8 shows a week is a lot of work, plus booking guests and running tech, even if they're not hosting all 8 a week.

You think Seth and James should be keeping some of the money that has been donated for themselves?? If not, then who else would you suggest be paying them? It's clearly been a labor of love for them.

The Actors Fund spends $6.5 million (15% of budget) on "administration and fundraising expenses" per year, and in 2019 its CEO made $760k. 85% ($37mil) of its expenses go towards its programs. See CharityNavigator for more publicly-available info.
Totally normal for a giant nonprofit to compensate the people who run fundraisers for it –– it is a labor of love, but also a labor of time. It's not uncommon to spend $75k-150k (or more) to raise $1 million.

So far, Stars in the House has been honored with a special award from the Drama Desk and a Board of Directors Award from the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC). But I wholeheartedly agree with fashionguru_23: Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley definitely deserve a special Tony for their dedication in putting on these delightful shows. Plus, they're about to reach a landmark number: raising $1 million for the Actors Fund.

Congratulations, Seth and James!! What an accomplishment!
Wish they were getting a special Tony Award for this labor of love.

Are you sure about that? SirusXM pays (or paid) for a large portion of the show, as well as another fund of some sort (name escapes me). They have mentioned this multiple times over the last year and a half.
Seth and James have said on their show multiple times that they are not getting paid. SiriusXM may sponsor the show to help with fees, etc. And they've done a few episodes to support their [very small] staff to get paid.
If anyone missed the announcement, there's going to be a live Stars in the House show to celebrate the reopening of Broadway on Sunday, Sep 12 at the Town Hall! Tickets are already on sale through Ticketmaster. Info on the event pulled from the SITH website:

I've not been to town hall. Will the side seating in center orch prevent seeing Seth if he sits at piano? The loge seating looks okay, but can't tell how far back it is over the orch, e.g., does loge sit over row M?
That was problem in Springsteen. He spent half the show sitting at piano and it was hard to see him, except his forehead, if you sat close to stage on left like row A and B. A friend was extreme left and stood in far left aisle to watch b/c she couldn't' see him.

This was taken from H 1, hope it helps.
Thanks Taffy... Big place....yes, that did help....
They're essentially airing repeats this week due to Seth and James being on vacation. Basically a "best of" Stars in the House.

I have sat in the center about 5 rows up Balcony and and Row A house right in the Balcony there and had a perfect view.
The Live Town Hall show has been rescheduled to Monday October 25th due to Delta Variant concerns. This is on the website for the show:
"Because of Delta variant concerns, we have decided to reschedule the September 12th live and in-person Stars in the House at The Town Hall, consistent with Theatre Authority guidelines. The new date and time will be Monday, October 25th at 8pm with many of the same stars joining us and some new ones too! Thank you for your understanding during these ever-changing times. James and Seth"
