Shoshana Bean/Cynthia Erivo fall out?

I've been watching Housewives all day, so I'm in the mood for some good ole Broadway goss. 

Rumor has it that Shoshana and Cynthia had a falling out of sorts - both have unfollowed each other on social media, and a few people on Reddit have taken note of Shoshana's complete silence in the midst of Wicked-mania. I saw them both at Shoshana's holiday concert in 2019, and of course haven't been following their socials that closely to know when the 'unfollowing' occurred, but seeing as how Shoshana rose to fame as the second Elphaba (which she's spoken about having a complicated relationship with) and her complete lack of anything Wicked related does seem a bit suspect. 

Interested in knowing what the internet sleuths know.

Reliable sources say...that Cynthia Erivo and Shoshana Bean were spotted getting into a brief but vicious hair-pulling brawl at Henrietta Hudsons bar in trendy West Village, New York City.

I’ve been wondering the same. Cynthia was always a little more low-key, but Shoshana used to tell anyone who’d listen about her girl Cynthia, their performances at the Apollo, their “When You Believe” duet, etc. Now silence. She seemed to still follow/be in touch with Lena Waithe (Cynthia’s partner) for a bit, but they don’t follow each other anymore either. I wonder if it was typical jealousy when one’s star began to rise quicker or if there was a genuine issue or moment that set things off. Sad because they did make beautiful music together.

They also did a holiday show together at the Apollo for a few years in a row and recorded this Taylor Swift cover. Videos from the Apollo are also on YouTube.

These same queens who want to act self righteous about this post are still fully obsessed with the Joan Crawford/Bette Davis feud. It's okay, ladies. We know the snippiness comes from a place of insecurity.

Truly not a day goes by here in which we aren't besieged by hundreds of posts arguing back and forth about whether Crawford actually wore weights to strain Davis' back when Jane drags Blanche across the room.

This is how it all started, Shoshana suggested that she'd like to sing the Whitney part and Cynthia felt utterly devastated and erased. They never spoke again.

OK i know this is all a little on the catty side, but I was also scrolling on youtube and found a fun clip of Shoshana and Megan Hilty and realized I hadn't seen them interact/sing together in many years. They seemed so fun together, and then realized they don't follow each other on insta. I would love a reunion of some sort with those two.

I guess, for me, it's less about speculating what happened, but more just sad that whatever happened or didn't happened, it means we probably won't get any new collaborations, which is a shame, because they sound so great together.
