I’m not sure what the current licensed version is. The free read from MTI has the Shrek and Fiona prologue, the trans slur, Ballad of Farquaad and the short jokes. I assume it hasn’t been updated yet.
They said they cut Farquuad’s back story so I’m guessing so. Sounds like they were really trying to offend no one and in doing so basically gave him nothing to do.

I’m in Shrek right now and all those things are still in it.
Anyone else hear about the copyright takedown notices people have been getting on social media RE: the costume photos? That's INSANE. Is it even legal?

They needn't worry about anybody copying these designs.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."

Is this about that post on Reddit from earlier today?
Not a lawyer, but I have some knowledge about copyright law. I didn't see the original post that was taken down, so it's hard to say. Most likely, it is completely legal. Whenever companies file for copyright protections, they are usually really broad to cover all sorts of things.
If the image they posted was taken during the actual show, they can definitely have it taken down. If it was them re-sharing the officially produced photos, then it's a bit more of a grey area. There are certain exceptions to the law, such as fair use, but I'm not certain that would apply.
Edited to add: Do I think they have ulterior motives for taking it down? Oh, absolutely.
Cecily Davis (Fiona) has left the tour and her understudy is taking over. She also deactivated her Instagram. I hope she’s okay! From what I’ve heard, they’ve had a LOT of schedule changes and already shortened the tour to conclude at the end of this calendar year.

I hope she is well. It looks like she probably left the tour in between the Detroit and Toronto stops, as from what I can tell, only understudies performed as Fiona after August 4th. She made a post on Instagram on the 4th saying something about getting through "a very difficult show" and then deactivated it shortly after. Seems like the Detroit stop was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Someone on another forum said that the show's producers pitched this to the cast as something completely different (essentially what people were pitched with the Youtube video about this being a reimagined revitalized Shrek, if that other person was telling the truth) and I wouldn't doubt that has a lot to do with stress on the cast.
On top of the cast having to deal with the negative reception online for the show's quality. Even after the temporary closure and "revamp." Doesn't help that somehow the show's producers can't find a way to decently cover any of the Fiona actresses with enough green makeup for the finale... I saw the show in Detroit and was shocked, it was like they just sort of dabbed a bit of green here and there on the actress's face. How do you let them go on stage like that, as a director? It's not fair to the cast who has to perform.
While some of the posts above may have merit, Cecily left for the same reason lots of people leave non-union tours: a longer-duration, better paying gig. She is a swing on the Equity tour of Shucked.

Yeah, I noticed that too when they announced the full cast. I'm super happy for Cecily to be joining an equity tour.

She just posted on her restored Instagram that she left because she was experiencing micro and macro aggressions on the tour from what sounds like both cast and crew. She noted she was even having panic attacks before shows.
I’m sorry that she had such a bad experience. That said, if she’s going to “call out” how she was treated on that tour (which I’m not sure is the best career move), she should use something else from her 28 page documentation list, because comparing having a white actor manipulating the black young Fiona puppet to minstelsy is a stretch…
