IF Audra is out again tonight, I wonder if she gave the company enough notice to have her u/s learn the role.

There was no show last night.
There was a scheduled show last night, they're not dark on Mondays. But apparently it was cancelled.
YIKES! I just checked her twitter and she didn't mention anything. I have tickets for Saturday night so I hope she has a speedy recovery!

That's terrible, I hope she feels better quickly. That Jesse Green article made it seem like Audra is incredibly hard on herself (because no one else is). I hope she isn't beating herself up for this but I have a feeling she is.

Where did you find this out? Can you post a link if there is one?
"
I just called Telecharge. They confirmed it. I have to go into the box office.
I wonder if they might try and reschedule these two previews to next week when the show is supposed to be dark??
I am stopping by the box office tomorrow afternoon to find out. I purchased my ticket there.

Are we completely sure that Audra's ill? That seems like a valid and plausible enough reason to call off a performance, and yet the statement is worded as vaguely as, "without any explanation for the last-minute change."
Was supposed to work there tonite. Shucks! Got a call about 3pm. She is sick. Standbys unrehearsed until opening nite. Yikes.
Well if she is or isn't, the show is cancelled. I fully expected this as I didn't expect she would be sick for one day. And if she has this cold/flu thing everyone seems to have, I would not be surprised if she is out again tomorrow.
I have tickets for tomorrow night (3/23). I have to be honest that I'm hoping it's cancelled. If Audra is sick enough to cancel the show for two days, I don't really want my Shuffle Along experience to be an under-the-weather Audra in an apparently unfinished show. (And... to not be selfish for a second, I hope she feels better soon! I had this flu thing that's been going around and it really sucked.)
How late in the day did folks get emails or calls from Telecharge about the cancellation? We are going to be on a train to NY Friday for the Friday evening performance, and I'm wondering at what point I'll need to make alternative plans.

According to telecharge show is going on this evening, although they did not cancel yesterday until later in the day.
Fairly certain that you'll have nothing to worry about on Friday. She has a cold (or so it seems) not leprosy.
Hopefully it isn't this thing so many people have that just seems to hang on. I am 4 weeks in with it. Although I think It just doubled back on me as I felt fine for about 3 days and then it hit me in m head. Had it in my chest first. It is more annoying than anything.
Also, for some reason I was under the impression they had that dark week in April. According to the calendar on their website, it is next week.
Yeah, there are apparently several strains of viruses around at present that seem to be symptomatic for a week to 10 days (my wife is just recovering from one), so I'm not at all sanguine about Friday night. Life happens.

Audra's understudy has been rehearsing and is ready to go on tonight if needed. No word on whether Audra will be performing tonight.
I heard they have been rehearsing her for 2 days. Not sure if that is true but I went to exchange my ticket today and they were about to start rehearsals. Evidentally the show will go up tonight. Don't think Audra will be on tonight. Box office told me Audra is sick.
Now they've just announced they're cancelling March 27-April 1 shows...sounds like they're going to make some major changes and this will give them time to get it performance ready again...could ultimately be very good for the success of the show...we'll see!
