I am very excited to be going to this (April 23). I will be eagerly watching this space to see what people think. :)
I also want to know because I am not seeing this until the day before the Tony Awards.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

The only time I got to see Audra live was when I saw Porgy and Bess back in the summer of 2012. I wasn't a huge fan of that particular revival, but she was sensational (as was Norm Lewis), and made it worth seeing.
I'll be there on Tuesday night, orchestra center. Very excited for this one. I'll give a report and try to have pics of the pre-show set up, playbill, song list, etc. To make it easier and have those pics posted quickly, I'll put them on my Instagram with #shufflealongbroadway.
Does anyone know the original SHUFFLE ALONG to even make any sort of judgment on whether the Tonys could place this new production in Revival/Original?
Seeing it next week. Most excited about seeing Mr. Mitchell live. Have seen everyone else onstage except him and I know a few people in the cast. Really happy to see one of those people making their Broadway debut!
After seeing the Times Talks interview with George C. Wolfe and Audra, I'm even more excited/curious about this show. I can't wait to hear how it's structured/written.
Seeing it the Saturday after Tony nominations come out, very excited!!

Does anyone know about Opening Night tickets for this, or when they may make extras available. We are going in late April and have two open spots for shows and wanted to see this. Our luck---one spot is opening night, and the other is Sunday afternoon when it's not performing Would love to try to do opening night....
Likewise! I'll be seeing the evening performance. Absolutely cannot wait!

Me, too.....I'm seeing Bright Star in the afternoon.

Right after leaving The Color Purple (amazing) yesterday, went across the street for the first preview and I CANNOT WAIT! I imagine I'll be seeing this one a few times (crosses fingers).
I'm not seeing this until May 8 so I am also very interested to hear everyone's thoughts. This, along with Waitress, is probably my most anticipated show of the spring.
