So nothings guaranteed, but if i had to guess if you get there at 8:00, you'll at least get SRO in my honest opinion

Your friend danced directly in front of their seat or was brought up on stage?
"
She just stood up and danced at her seat. The stage is not set up with steps to allow going up on stage and with the AAA row taken out, there's lots of space to get up and boogy in the front row (center section anyways).

how did it turn out, how was rush this morning?

I kind of rushed this morning got there at 9:57am lol. Shockingly
I did not get a ticket. I did ask about the standing room though. There are 10 spots and the tickets go on sale right before the show. The sales associate said that people normally start lining up around 3pm for standing room.

1. Awesome!
2. I wish people would stop reporting early times here lol....that is just going to make everyone get there earlier and earlier. Soon, people will be camping out! Ugh. And yes, before people attack me - I know how rush works, the most "dedicated" deserve these...etc. etc. I'm going next weekend and just keep hoping I can get there at 8am and still get 2 tickets. hah! Doesn't seem likely at this point. At this rate, I will need to get there at 3!

To add to this, if people start rushing TOO early, Rush will be done altogether, (see Hadestown and DEH when Ben Platt was there) and will be moved exclusively to lottery as people have mentioned before

For reference last Sunday the first people got in line around 6:15 for a noon box office opening.

I mean...I posted my time here so people have an idea that there's no need to get there at 3:30am. I guess next time I'll just...not do that?

Awesome--thank you for this! That's definitely more reasonable, and I really don't want to start anything by going too early. Thank you!

Naw you're good, I think rush will be gone when previews end anyway in addition, people who rush aren't exclusively on this board

Posted: 2/20/20 at 10:08amGot AA 103-104 for tonight. The box office attendant was very sweet and let me know that, unless something drastic changes, the current rush policy will stay in place after opening.

I appreciate you posting your times. Even though I'm sure lurkers use these boards to gauge when they should arrive for rush, I doubt that accounts for most of the rush line. At least, that's what I gather every time I've talked to the people around me
While I understand Hairspray's concern, it has nothing to do with you. If you didn't post your 5:45 time, someone else would've anyway. And honestly, this helps me, bevause I want to score center orch tickets.

I greatly appreciate your post. I’m sorry if I seemed unappreciative. I just meant that you said you got in line at 5:45am and were second. Someone will want to be first. So they will get there at 5:30. Etc etc. because that’s always what seems to happen, and then we reach the point where people get there basically the night before, which I hope does not happen.
