how did it turn out, how was rush this morning?"
Didn't end up doing it this week bc I didn't realize they don't have Wednesday matinees and I couldn't make the 8:00 pm show. Will probably be going the Wednesday after next.

Which date?"
Probably March 4. So the Wednesday after next.
I got in line at 6:15 this morning and am 7th in line. It’s a two show day. By 6:30 I’d say the line doubled. Now it’s 7:18 and there’s maybe 30 people.

Are you unable to arrive before 8AM?

Rushed this morning (Saturday, 2 show day) at 7 am and managed to get 5 tickets (we had 3 people), 2 in front row and 3 orchestra row E 17-21 partial view. There was someone who would periodically go down the line to ask people how many tickets we were each getting, and our group was around ticket #35-40.
The partial view wasn't bad at all, though the person on the very end said he couldn't see the back of the stage where a couple things happen in Haus of Holbein and Get Down, but didn't even notice that he was missing out. The next person over could see it but was obstructed a bit by the angle from where some of the queens were standing.

Hi, I also rushed yesterday morning.
#1 - Evening, seats AA103-104, arrived at 5:30
#2, Evening, seats AA111-112, arrived at 5:30
#3, Evening, seats AA113-114, arrived at 5:45ish?
I was #4, Evening, seats AA6-8 arrived at 5:55ish?
#5 and 6, and KitKatBoy24 were for the matinee and I'm not sure what seats they got.
The center seats were 105-110 were definitely not people who were not from the rush line. I had been a little confused as to how I was given 6-8 when the girl in front of me got 113-114. The people who were in 2-4 were definitely not from rush either. They are selling some seats in the front row as normal sale.
The majority of people in front of me were going to the matinee, so I took the evening show and am in AA104.
FYI, SIX is up at TKTS for tonight's show.

Historically AA 101/102 was also given to the rush line. You are saying it was not for the evening? Any word if that was also the case for Saturday/yesterday matinee, Sunday/today matinee and/or Sunday/today evening?

I'm not sure about AA 101-102 actually. I didn't recognize them from the rush line, but it's very possible they could have been the next evening group after you in line

Were 2 lines ( matinee / evening ) specifically created when the theater doors opened or you only had to choose which performance when speaking with the box office person?

It's one line for both. You can choose when it's your turn. They usually announce outside which of the rush tickets are sold out - two weeks ago when I rushed, the matinee sold out first (so the only option for you is the evening show).

I had a friend rush on Friday and Sunday (mat) and they got first in line and both times we were AA101-102, so the order of tickets goes like this.
AA-101-102-103-104, then A114-113-112-111,
AA-105-110 are lottery or if they are unclaimed they get sold after the lottery for 300.
And yes for the sunday mat, me and my friend were the ones were dancing

Oh damn, that’s definitely a long wait then. I was thinking of rushing on Sunday and trying for the front row but that adds an extra two hours. Props to those who have done it!

It only adds a full 2 hours if people arrive on Sunday at the same time as Saturday.

People are still arriving at like 5:30 on Sundays. Maybe that's a little later of a first person than Saturday, but that's still a long time to wait for rush tickets (especially in the cold).

How many people / tickets are in front of you and when did they arrive?"
….They literally said they're fifth in line. So I'm guessing there are 8 tickets, 10 including them (if each person in front of them is getting 2).
