Tonight I got to sit in on the last dress rehearsal of Here We Are (tech tables still out!!) one of the biggest honors of my life in NYC thus far. SO - Whatever you’re expecting, it’s not that - Rachel Bay Jones you are a REVELATION - It’s all for art, the rest is just noise <3

Is anyone devastated that this is the last time you’ll ever see a new Sondheim show? And in my case, the first time too. There is only one place to be in New York City tonight.

I'm seeing this next weekend. I both want to read nothing about it and go in with no expectations, and at the same time devour all the info that comes out over the next week. This is the first new Sondheim show since I got into theatre. What a treat to see his greatest flop and final show back to back.

I know this is his last show and all but dang these prices. Usually use TDF and stuff, but I'll be in town for two nights in December and would love to see this. But $300? Eh.

There are $87 seats on TodayTix for literally every day in December.

Except when you go to the ticket selection, those $87 tickets don't show, as if they're sold out. I was going to buy one for January today to no avail.

That's not at all accurate. When you slide the price selection bar all the way to the left to the $87* price point, it shows the entire left side Row P available as well as three seats Row P center. I've spot checked multiple dates and they've been available at each performance.

The $87 seats don't show up on desktop, only the app, and, for some reason, January isn't available on the app yet. The desktop seat map only goes through row N, and those seats are high stools in row P.
Edit: January isn't showing up on my iPad app, but it's there on my iPhone, and the $87 seats are there for all 6 days.

So, I went on TodayTix from my laptop and able to see and book these $87 tickets for the end of run in January, FYI. Something's wrong with my app.
