I dont get why they have re written the whole song for this release and just kept the chorus? the song in the show is great it did not need messing with. As for Carney and his singing and the 'emo' comment, i love his voice, it has passion and its unpolished its raw. It's nice to hear a voice that is not theatre trained singing this kind of score.
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna
I'm curious to know if the cast recording will be 14 tracks in addition to the bonus track or 14 tracks total including the bonus track. I'm thinking "I'll Take Manhattan" and "Sinisterio" will definitely be left off the recording. Maybe even "Freak Like Me" depending on when they recorded. Updated On: 5/25/11 at 09:50 PM
This track reminds me of a couple of years ago when Frank Wildhorn's "Rudolf - The Last Kiss" premiered in Vienna starring Drew Sarich... They released an acoustic, dance and radio cut of one of the show's most dramatic numbers "I Was Born to Love You" which was entirely sappy and atrocious, but was fine on the regular cast recording!
That was such a terrible representation of the show on Idol tonight. Reeve wasn't really needed at all. I have to say, when I saw him in the show, he was the weak link of the "leads" His voice was nice but the diction and acting was on the verge of awful.
