In song and out of context, I finally realize the complete creepiness of that rule!
OH, yeah, I think it was always meant to be a grossly real, raw and physical line. Peter's personal freedom is constantly at risk, and I love that. Calls to mind how much I want a Buffy Broadway musical. Her life is so epic, but also so painful and personal.
We should write our own chamber musical of Spider-man.

I did really like "Boy Falls From the Sky" and "If the World Should End" though...those were really the only two songs in the score that stood out to me.
Who are you people??? You must've been in the loo for "Rise Above" then. C'mon. Am I the only one who adored this song? It's absolutely gorgeous.

Just received word from a friend who was at the show tonight.
Apparently, the performance was stopped early. An actress (who she thinks is Jennifer Damiano) was "seriously injured" and seen "sobbing" on stage by the audience.
Wow. If this is true... Wow.
I have a friend who was there tonight who said the same thing. Said he heard major screaming and there are ambulances outside the theater
Holy ****... apparently ambulances were outside. Actor fell.... ? @StevenTartick on Twitter.
Sounds major. I hope everyone is okay.
friend who was there said spiderman's safety snapped and he fell into this hole in the stage ON TOP of Mary Jane who then was screaming. Apparently the safety cable then swung out into the audience and the clasp (I believe) hit someone...then house lights came up and there was an announcement that the show could not proceed.
YIKES! Hope everyone is OK!
Oh no! Hope everyone is alright!
Just saw that ambulances were called. This is getting way out of hand. How many more people need to get hurt before someone sees that this cannot work? Broken bones, concussions...and the show isn't even open yet.
This is insane. I hope they are alright.
This could be the final nail in the coffin.....
Oh wow! I hope nobody is seriously injured!
This is insane.

p.s. Sorry, but I felt compelled to swoop down and save this thread from falling off the page (last post 21 hours ago).
Well, I'm glad it turned out to be human error,... or not glad, idk yet.
I'm wondering if this show is being treated like a roller coaster at a theme park where every morning there's a tryout and every nut and bolt is checked...
Right...because the other 100 Spidey threads wouldn't be enough on the first page.
^ No kidding! I have never seen one thing get so much attention and so many threads on the message board.
Then you obviously weren't around when Wicked opened. This is nothing.
Anyone remember the fangurlz who held a candlelight vigil when Idina fell through the trap door? The anti-Taymors simply cannot compete with the likes of Wicked fans.

LOLZ, that's hilarious, can you give us a link back to that thread?
No... sadly I wasn't around when Wicked opened

Can we get some live updates of tonight's show somehow?
Maybe a blog post sometime after the show??
Anyone going?
Also, a question about Rush tickets: Does anyone know exactly where the seats for rush tickets go? Where are the obstructions in the theater? Can you get a good view from the orchestra rows N - Y?
Thanks a lot.
NewYorkTheatre is saying on twitter that the B.O lied about being sold out the rest of the week so that they wouldn't have to do rush. Anyone else hear any truth to this? Sounds like something they would they to pull.... not that I blame the wanting to sell every high priced premium ticket possible right now... Pretty low lying about it though.
As of yesterday the rest of the week's shows were sold out Ticketmaster.
