That's terrific, because Diane brought something extraordinary to the Boston area this fall, Sleep No More, which closes this weekend, and it would have occupied every waking thought of even the most obsessed Hair fanatics.
If Diana joins Hair, the most logical role for her would be Shelia. However, several people have hinted at Jackie Burns staying in New York and taking over Shelia. If that's the case, maybe Diana as Jeanie?
Josh Lamon will be Dad/Margaret Mead/Tribe in the new cast!
EDIT: I am putting together a surprise scrapbook for Josh to celebrate. Details are located @ http://congratsjoshlamon.webs.comUpdated On: 2/5/10 at 01:13 PM
I think Jeanette went on once before this past week.
Does anyone know if she's on again tonight? Sasha Allen tweeted "out today" fifteen hours ago, but I'm not sure if that applies to last night or today?
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
Jeanette went on for first time as Dionne on Wednesday matinee and was beyond incredible! I do really hope they are preparing to move her up to Dionne when the cast changes.
I'm also going to assume Jeanette will be bumped up to Dionne when the cast leaves in March. And unless Vanessa Ray is leaving, I'm going to also assume that Degarmo will play Jeanie as Burns seems likely to be bumped to Sheila.
Dionne - Jeanette Bayardelle Claude - Paris Remillard Sheila - Jackie Burns Hud - ??? Crissy - Vanessa Ray Woof - Bryce Ryness Jeanie - Diana Degarmo Berger - ??? Mother - Rachel Bay Jones Dad/Margaret Mead - Josh Lamon
Tribe - Briana Carlson-Goodman, Chasten Harmon, Jay A. Johnson, Antwayn Hopper, Hannah Shankman, Heath Calvert, Catherine Brookman
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Heath did leave once Anthony Hollock returned. However, I believe someone confirmed he was returning in March when the original cast left.

Why would there be a new Woof? Ryness supposedly ISN'T going to London.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
No, he's not going to London, but apparently, he's either leaving on March 7th to pursue other work/spend time with his family, or he's sticking around for just a little bit longer and then leaving.
I'm not happy with the Ace casting because he's got a very mediocre voice but am interested in seeing Diana as Sheila and Jason as Woof. I'm glad the latter two are free after The Toxic Avenger.
I heard about the Ace casting and all I have to say is "poor Hair cast". Wait until his fans show up. Oh boy.
I'm friendly with some of the saner Ace fans and they seem to feel that Ace will not being doing the nudity.

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
