Hey, I don't know if someone already mentioned this, but The Soup was recapping the funniest videos from 2009, and they showed HAiR winning the Tony.

The host pointed out Anthony's face in the background. It's pretty funny!

I seriously almost spit out my coffee all over my keyboard over that. THAT would have been unfortunate!
You better text me and let me know if he's on tonight! And if he is, I want a COMPLETE recap!
Hey! Got lotto tickets to the show last night and it was a great show!! Some of the Spring Awakening tour cast was there so we helped them win tickets after we had ours. Paris!Woof Katie!Crissy and Matt!Hubert. Paris was as he usually is much more timid and subdued in the roles. Katie was fine as Crissy, I really wasn't missing Allison at all. Matt was just okay as well. No one can do it like Theo.

He probably took of the week of his wife's due date.
I would hope they were smart enough to wait for the baby to come. Very few babies (especially FIRST babies) come "on time". What happens if the baby isn't born until the end of a pre determined week off.
I hope it means the baby arrived....and best of luck to them both. (To them all three?)

Though, lately, it's more often than not that people schedule C-sections, even with first babies. So maybe they had that planned. No matter what, I hope everyone is happy and healthy!

As far as I know, Bryce's wife has given birth already and he's just taking the rest of the week off to be with her and his child. She was due Sunday (last Sunday? I'm unsure), so he's taking the week off to help get her settled in and everything.
That's just what someone I know who frequents the show told me after speaking to some of the cast members.
And Ryan was on as Woof today, he also might be doing the Saturday matinee (per his Twitter/Facebook).
Leia -- I don't know what's going on where YOU live....but most people do NOT have c-sections. There are very few first pregnanacies that you would know ahead of time that you NEEDED a c-section.

According to facebook, as of yesterday, Bryce's wife hasn't given birth yet, and it seems like he's keeping it vaguely up to date.

Maybe I was exaggerating a bit drama, but it's becoming more and more frequent. Requests for c-sections have grown steadily over the past decade. http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2008-01-07-csections_N.htm
Interesting article from last year, actually. I'm not saying it's better or anything, just becoming more and more common. Definitely many more risks and danger associated with them.
Back on topic.... heading into the city after work tomorrow to see if I can score some tix. Am dying to see someone else's take on Woof!

Taylor I was at the Tuesday night show too. Do you remember who they had singing Black Boys?

Yes....you can join the dance party at the end.
They encourage you to use the front "secret" stairs.
Drama, you will be able to go on stage. I sat in the mezz before and the cast was up there many times. I was also able to dance on stage at the end. Like showtune said, go as soon as they start putting the railings up. Also, it is quicker and easier if you use the stairs by the boxes.

A new block of tickets was announced and did anyone notice that in the announcement on playbill there was a new name in the list of tribe members - anyone know who Heath Calvert is?

With all the baby talk going around, figured people would like to know Bryce's wife Meredith has been in labor for the last 18 hours. Sending out my prayers!
18 hours worth of labor? That sounds so painful.
They must be ecstatic beyond belief though
That's long, but not unusual for first babies.
I was lucky...my first 5 hours, my second: an hour...I was in the hospital for FIFTEEN minutes before my son was born. Hello.

Do any of the cast go up to the mezz? And can I get to the stage for the end "be-in"?
Unfortunately, no, the cast is unable to go up to the mezzanine. Also, be aware people in the balcony get priority places in the onstage dance party. The only way people in the mezzanine can guarantee getting onstage is if you hide on the stairwell from halfway through act two and wait to sneak out. Hope you have a great time!

Don't listen to them, they are lying. The cast comes up in the mezz a lot, not as much as the orchestra but they go in the mezz. And people in the Balcony do not get "Priority" they get the same rights as all the other people. Also you don't have to wait in the stairwell, they never really turn people away from coming onstage.

Recently, due to new restrictions on climbing and heights, all mezzanie visiting has been discontinued. Sorry for any inconvenience.
