Carlos Alberto, Is that the graphic art work for-from this production? If so, it's ghastly and terribly generic. What an embarrassment to those involved.

I guess the producers and creatives are clueless with art work like that for their "new" musical. The ad-marketing director should be fired...is that the best they can do?

I'm happy to see this cast. The promo alone proves they have more personality than the last cast. Carmen Cusack and Faith are exceptional performers who can kill. Hopefully, they are given good material. I just wish Faith would stop wearing those goddamn knee length sweaters. She wears them in every damn thing she does. I guess she was styling herself-they do her no favors.

The artwork is terrible. It's like a 1960's catalog cover. Hideous. Can it reflect some fun or vivaciousness for God's sake?

Like I said in another thread last year I don't think the interest in this musical would have happened if it were not for a quote from this young woman who is adored by the entire world. Thanks a lot, Jenny for helping bring back this disaster form the grave. I still love you though.
The ghastly terribly generic art work for this new musical still has not be changed...wondering what they are doing and or are thinking...hello!? It's horrendous!

From this first "Webisode" it looks as if "My Heart Wants To Try, One More Time" (the act one closer from San Diego), is still in the show, for now at least. I wonder if they are even trying to make it better.
Seriously. Just write in "You Don't Own Me." How much can it cost to license the damn thing? It's the one moment people coming to the show expect, just like they eventually had to cave on "I'm A Believer" in Shrek and the Addams Family theme.
It must not be selling well. After the bajillionth e-mail from Broadway in Chicago, I caved and bought 3 seats, 14th row, center, for $55 each.
I want a nice view if this thing goes down in flames.
I have high hopes for this cast, though. Christine Sherill is well-known in the local Chicago scene, she seems to be the grand diva out at Drury Lane Theatre. I recently saw her in "Sunset Boulevard," and she really hit it out of the park.
Who knows? Maybe it'll be a pleasant surprise. Who else is going?
It seems they're leaning heavily on the back-catalog songs to sell the show, although "My Heart Wants to Try One More Time" (the unintentionally HILARIOUS Act 1 finale) appears to be in. This is looking like a blander affair than the glorious mess from San Diego. That said, I want to see some production shots and a song list.
