A couple of shots of some drops for the music man…
ps: can someone else confirm to me that there are photos included in the two previous posts? If so, then I think I’ve finally gotten a handle of posting images on this website.

Thanks!
Can't quite believe the show is nearing previews in a little over a month from now... after such a long wait!

"Beginning Saturday, a new block of tickets is now available for August 2022 through October 2022"...Wait -they are extending it now?!! Last time I checked - and moved my tickets for the THIRD time - the latest tickets I could get were the end of July - they are going into the fall now? Through October? I hate to say it - but I might want to switch my tickets again. I originally was going in December of 2020 - now I'm going in June of 2022. My mother and sister will likely kill me - but I much prefer going to New York in fall weather. I wonder if the ticket prices are comparable?

They are actually selling tickets to November 6, 2022!
"Mr. Jackman will not be appearing in THE MUSIC MAN on the following dates: August 15–21, 2022 September 5–11, 2022 October 10–16, 2022 (These dates currently not on sale.)"

I hope this means Max Clayton will be on for those dates and not an understudy. I never fully understand how a scheduled absence figures into a standby’s contract, not to mention that it’s nearly a year away, but I’d definitely buy a ticket for one of those weeks if Clayton was on.
Is it unusual for the Event Overview Page to mention the names of the entire cast ?
"The Music Man Cast Members:

Jo, all the actors' names are on the front-of-house display too (in a much more prominent way than an oversized Playbill title page). If I had to guess, the producers are doing this in the name of "equitability" and trying to make an extra-special environment for all in the cast...
I highly doubt they'd put Max Clayton on for Hugh's pre-scheduled weeklong absences. If anything, they'll bring in a "Broadway star" like Brian Stokes Mitchell or Will Chase or Norm Lewis. But luckily nobody has to worry about that for another 9 months.

I counted 46 cast members! I know many are probably ensemble and swings, but wow.
