re: The 2005 Tony Awards Thread

lol my dad just asked if sharpton was part of the cast...we're going to have a very confused country
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

Margo, someone, please...what is the story? b/c right now I'm assuming sharpton shows up on stage every night or something. is there a joke about him!?

re: The 2005 Tony Awards Thread

I think they are, Margo.

I am majorly confused now since I have never seen it. I know Sharpton is not in the show, but I don't understand if they added a part or if he substituted for someone?

I thought it was funny.... but I think it made things confusing.

re: The 2005 Tony Awards Thread

Ha, I loved it. The third "use it in a sentence" part was hilarious.

Each show, audience members are chosen to spell. For the Tonys they thought it would be funny to use Al...that is it.

re: The 2005 Tony Awards Thread

In the actual show 2 audience members are brought on stage as spellers. For the Tonys they chose Sharpton (who did very well I must say)

No, Al Sharpton is not in the show.
He's the substitute for audience participation.
That's usually sung to one of the audience members.

She's so pretty. :)

GAH. Must...restrain putting hair behind ears...>____________<

It's a pet peeve, but I do it all the time too, so I guess I'm a hypocrite.

ETA: By doing it all the time, I meant putting my hair sort of in my face. Okay, my thread jack is finite.

re: The 2005 Tony Awards Thread

***thank you*** I was confused as to what was scripted and what wasn't. I have avoided learning too much about the show because I want to see it soon!
