Posted: 6/5/05 at 10:42pmI have not posted on here for almost a year, actually since last Tony's...however I have to express some thoughts. First of all, overall I think it is going well..That Aretha thing was PAINFUL, and I have to say living in Cincinnati, from the excerpts I have seen on the show, I would choose DRS before anything else to go see, with a close second and third to Piazza and Spelling Bee. What ever happened to the excerpts they used to do about the shows, the design teams, etc. They would show parts of the shows, etc. I LOVED those parts, but they have not been in for years....going to go watch...will report more later...

"Was that about the 7 millionth tribute to Sondheim this season?
ENOUGH already"
There can never be enough tributes to Mr. Sondheim.

I don't think it's hatred as much as does it deserve a Tony?
I've heard it referred to as more of a review then a musical show.
If Spelling Bee wins, it may very well be another WICKED scenario all over again...

Viet, well it is a bad show. I really didn't enjoy it.
Wicked has some redeeming qualities.
The performances may be Spamalot's only ones.
