It rhymes, which is doubly awesome! They're my favorite songs because one is light-hearted and funny because of the lyrics, and the other is just a masterpiece within itself.

My choice would be a song cut from the original ANNIE GET YOUR GUN and never heard again until it turned up on one of the LOST IN BOSTON CD's - "Take it In Your Stride." A Good old fashioned snappy show tune by Irving Berlin.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

"Mama Who Bore Me" ~ Spring Awakening.
Didn't care for the show that much when I saw it and especially didn't care for this song. I sorta fell in love with the music way after seeing it and most recently grew to like this song.

A day late, but "I Am The One" from Next To Normal. I had this song intermittently stuck in my head from the Tony Performance till I saw the show on the Seattle stop of the tour last month, and I still get it stuck in there now.
