It's sad that the only two who can benefit from this depiction is August and 39 Steps since all the others have closed

but I do enjoy it, I actually thought about how it'd be nice to do for plays since musicals get advertise through performance. Updated On: 6/15/08 at 09:41 PM

I'm loving Whoopi on this show.

What is wrong with Faith? She did not sound good.

I will PayPal $5 to the first person who uploads Patti's performance to YouKnowWhere. I must see it.

re: The 62nd Tony Awards Megathread

I love that they are showing some scenes from the plays but why can't they be live?? I can still remember the scene from the 1987 Tonys from "Coastal Disturbances" with Timothy Daly (of Wings t.v. show fame) and Annette Bening, him burying her in the sand...

I love the play montage, but I wish they had a little more time for each play.

"39 Steps" looks fantastic! I so hope it tours so I can see it!

What's with the long face, Gabriel? You'd think he was giving a eulogy.

39 steps should never tour the major venues - it would sink in the huge barns of theatres they build for touring Broadway shows.

I think you guys are being so harsh on the Tonys this year, from musical numbers to the layout. Whoopi is doing an amazing job as a host, they are having beautiful presentations of plays and musicals. This years Tony awards is actually entertaining to watch, unlike all other award showsl
