So could you even begin to imagine Laura and Boyd winning their acting categories, and Patti not winning hers? It really is a great trio of performers.
Megan did great! It wasn't the best song for them the show off the show, but she did great! All three woman did amazing.
Broadway Shows I've Seen: Hairspray, Chicago, Little Shop of Horrors (2003), The Wedding Singer, Spamalot, Riverdance, Rent, Beauty and the Beast, Spring Awakening, Wicked, Legally Blonde, Phantom of the Opera, Sweet Charity (revival), Drowsy Chaperone, The Lion King, Dreamgirls(2010 Tour).
i love laura. her speech was so sincere and honest. i am so proud of her, because she was just wow, when i saw her during the city center and broadway production of gypsy.
Congrats to Boyd.
go patti!!!! if you win i am going to watch gypsy for the third time!!!
Awkward performance from TLM. In addition to the horrible costume and Sierra's weird "arm movements" (which btw, she does throught the whole show) were annoying enough, but the transition into the reprise was soo awkward. This entire medley was pointless. I love Megan, but could do without that song. I find the Kate Walsh (who is walking sex) car commercial more interesting than that medley.
"Sing the words, Patti!!!!" Stephen Sondheim to Patti LuPone.
LOL! I missed Bradley Whitford's face the first time. Luckily, I have a DVR and was able to rewind to see it. Well worth it.
TLM was the best performance of those three. I'm a huge Mel Brooks fan, and liked YF mroe than I should have, but Deep Love was a bad song and a horrible choice for the Tonys.
I'm amused that they can't say XM, and have to say satellite radio instead. Honestly though, I love Downstage Center. A little bland, but a good show more times than not.
