Agreed. It’s the best revival of the season.

Will this make Parade more likely to get a national tour?

JRB musta pissed off the director of the awards lol

Yes Parade!
but I’m sorry cutting off JRB for a phantom bit is unacceptable.

For their limited time, what they did will sell some tickets.

It's the cutting him off JUST as he's about to aknoledge the real life 13 year old victim of the show that gets me.... a bad moment for sure

The In Memoriam clapping will never not be awkward

I would think Parade would 100% tour as it’s likely to recoup its investment. And a lot of stuff is an easier sell on the road.

She sounded sharp in the Memorandum section.

I know they obviously can't do extended In Memoriam clips for every single person, but I feel like 5-time Tony winner Angela Lansbury deserved a better send-off.

Sweeney was, so far, the best performance of the night. By a country mile.

In a “normal” year I have no doubt they would have written a tribute to her.

Yeah, she was not good last year and she sounded really bad this year. They should have had Audra or Kelli do that number. Ugh.

Good point. I hadn't even thought about that. But at least give us a video montage of her!

Even though Comer was (rightfully) the surest of sure things - I’m still so happy.
