They're about 5-6 mninutes behind schedule. not bad despite not having a script.

Yeah, quite inappropriate of Denee to make someone else's special moment all about herself. She owes an apology to that educator who had a look of shock and stun and when the camera panned to him.
These last few performances show that one well-executed number (as opposed to a medley) is very effective. I thought it was bold to do "The Ballad of Sweeney Todd," but that really made me intrigued. As someone who hasn't seen the show yet, it's now at the top of my list.
· Writers make the world go round and I stand with the WGA 100% but…… this show is a delight without the usual dialogue and joke attempts. Hate to say it.
· TOPDOG. YES. Was certainly one of the best theater experiences of the year, bar none.
· And here I am reminded how friggin perfect Sara Bareilles was in this role. And props to shouting out the ongoing tour, something we don’t normally see but makes a whole of economic sense.
· Are both of the musical actor tonys going to people wearing dresses? Asking for a Fox News producer working on tomorrow night’s propaganda.
· I liked that Parade fully staged this number, even though weve seen them perform it a few times, that little opening helps it greatly. But I cant fathom why they wouldnt feature the full ensemble, or do a snippet of one of Grayson's big awesome catchy numbers. Ben and Micaela sound incredible as ever dont get me wrong.
· Kinda disappointed theyre front-loading all the revival performances… but yes, this Sweeney performance makes me raise some eyebrows at those who complained about this show. (I haven’t seen it yet). Loved the big ensemble and the orchestra and it just looks good. This staging is great. Ironic given the sound complaints re this show that the first words from Groban got swallowed (and ballsy not to showcase Annaleigh at all but I guess if youre sold out for the next 3 months ) I loved all of this.

Florida is gross and their Governor hates everyone that isn't straight, white and male. That joke killed and was a real EFF YOU. Sorry not sorry.

They always do. It's so they can award Best Revival of a Musical and still have some Best Musical nominees perform afterwards and before the final award of the night.
