Since Legally Blonde is closing anyone heard anything of what Bailey could possibly be up to next? I wouldn't mind her playing the Amy Adams role in CMIYC.

I'm interested to see if she'll be as successful in a role where she doesn't have another performance to copy verbatim, since I thought most of her shtick that worked in LEGALLY BLONDE was a direct imitation of Laura Bell Bundy.
This thread was posted before, I believe, and I mentioned that she'd be a great replacement for Megan Hilty in 9 TO 5.

She might end up in Hairspray as Amber or Penny. People have said G(a)linda but I don't think she's right for that role.
I see Autumn having an easier time getting another job that Bailey.
Bailey is very talented. I think she has a very bright future ahead of her and will be on Broadway quite a bit.

Autumn will have an easy time as long as it doesn't include dancing. I think Bailey will have no problem getting work.

I can't say I'd be suprised if she ended up in Hairspray. And I think that Bailey herself said she wanted to play Glinda in Wicked because they were both "short, blonde, and funny" or something. LOL Some random adjectives. Who knows, but I think Bailey has a bright future too on Broadway.
If worst comes to worst, she can be the stunt casting with Broadway talent. It'd be great to see her used instead of the latest unemployed sitcom star.

She's a soprano, remember, so Galinda isn't out of the question.
I think Bailey would be perfect as Amber in Hairspray.
What's Laura Osnes been up to since she left Grease?
I ask because she's another reality TV show winner.

I enjoyed Bailey's performance in "Legally Blonde" very much, and I hope her career continues successfuly. And Autumn, with her considerable vocal gifts, should find steady employment. But, as I suspected might be the case, the "real" winners of the MTV "Search For" program may well turn out to be Lauren and Rhiannon, who will be gainfuly employed on the "LB" tour for some time to come. They are both doing an excellent job -- I will see them in the show five more times before the tour heads to Baltimore -- and they will have the opportunity to continue to grow as performers. Both are understudying Elle, and doubtless will have opportunities down the road to play the role.

Has the Grease tour announced a Sandy yet? It was apparently offered to Lauren. Maybe they could have Bailey instead...

Definitely Sandy in Grease. Good role for her and it would be nice to see someone who's age appropriate tackle it. Autumn will do very well and i do hope she gets to play Elle just once before it closes. Of course she could always play Rizzo :)
I said this in another thread, but I could see Bailey as Dainty June in Gypsy or Inga in Young Frankenstein.
I don't think Bailey has the comedic timing for Dainty June on Broadway.

I spoke with one of Bailey's family members tonight. She auditioned for a certain musical on Broadway with a certain Casting Director. I guess we'll see how it all turns out soon. She is very talented and will do well!
I think Bailey is extremely talented and her work floored me the first time I saw the show, and I went in with no expectations for her.
I think she can inhabit many great roles all over the White Way. Here's just a few:
Sandy in Grease
Amber in Hairspray
Arial in The Little Mermaid
The Girl (Rose?) in Mamma Mia!
Princess Fiona in Shrek
Galinda in Wicked
Either of the sisters in White Christmas
Dolly Parton's role in 9 to 5.
I look forward to seeing her career blossom.
*Ariel, Sophie.
I don't think she's enough of an actress to "inhabit" roles right now. She lucked out because she is very similar to Elle. I think she could be an okay Galinda but I don't know if her voice is strong enough.
I don't think she has enough emotional depth for some of the orles you listed but she would be okay as Amber or Sandy.

I think the one role she could nail, if she lost the accent, would be Sophia in Mamma Mia.
I look back at the whole reality competition and just have to laugh. Autumn hasn't even gone on yet - and didn't Bailey miss a performance or something? She probably won't get to play Elle at all...if she's lucky, maybe once. I feel bad for her, as she is extremely talented. I find it funny that Lauren and Rhiannon get to perform with the show longer than Bailey and Autumn.

^Bailey missed 4 or 5 performances and Kate Rockwell went on as Elle all of them. Emily Padgett went on as Margot so I think that Autumn isn't quite ready yet to handle the dancing part plus she has been sick also.
When I first saw the show with Bailey as Elle Autumn was still in Whipped Into Shape and she practically killed herself with the jump rope. It was wrapped around her head.
I think that Bailey has a career ahead of her. If she isn't put in Hairspray as Amber or in Wicked as Glinda, I see her getting some smaller roles until she builds up her reputation on Broadway. She's made for the stage between her voice and stage presence.
I feel that if the reality show was for any other role (except maybe one highly dance intensive), Autumn would have won by a lot. I think she's more talented, but Bailey's more "Elle." I found Autumn's acting to be excellent and her onstage genuine-ness(?) to be wonderful. I wish the best for both of them, though! I just don't know how "deep" Bailey can get with another character.
