Orfeh has a great voice, but I don't really like her acting.
"[Gore] was widely perceived as arrogant. If you know something, you're not smart. You're a smarty-pants. It's annoying. People get annoyed with your knowledge. It goes back to high school, to not doing your homework ... 'There's something I should know, I don't know why I should know it but someone knows it and I don't. So I'm going to have to make fun of him now.'"
-Sarah Vowell, The Partly-Cloudy Patriot
I have to say that that was a really great casting call.

She really seemed over-the-top, and I didn't agree with a lot of her character choices. However, that's just my opinion.

Galindafield- there's some parts that were better on TV than live- IMO.
Actually- I am pausing this show right now.. I'm getting bored already I remember -the middle part of ACT 1 - Harvard Variations till just before the So Much Better is kinda boring to me...I have better things to do like ..laundry & do my grocery
I dont know if "amazing" was the word that I would use... parts were fun. To me, it reminded me of watching "HSM"... it was like trying to find a song that was worse than the previous one. But I would see it for LBB.
Wow - Personally I find the show mind numbingly bad. The music is bland cheerleader noise and totally forgetable - but to each their own. It's probably perfect for the brain dead tween set who have to see a show 10 or 20 times. I don't see how anyone would want to see it a second time, I had a hard time sitting through it once. the show was briliant but i whish they could showed more of the act curtain and the overture and more of the pre show stuff that would have been great.what's next a taping of hairspray. Updated On: 10/13/07 at 03:57 PM
Yay now its time for the West Coast feed- and... there is no one to discuss it with.
"Zac is sweet as can be. He's very much just a sweet kid from California who happens to have a face that looks like it was drawn by Michelangelo, (if Michelangelo did anime)." -Adam Shankman.
"I haven't left this building since Windows 3.1!"
"Celebrating a birthday this week: Rene Descartes is 412! Do you know who he is? Then why are you watching this show? You could probably get into college and even get one of those job things. As for the rest of us; Amanda Bynes is 22! Yay!" -E!'s "The Soup"
LOVED IT! I have a new appreciation for Nikki now. she just gets better every time with "whipped into shape"!
"It means nothing to come and sit in a theater night after night and immerse yourself in fantasy, only then to walk out the door and be unchanged in reality. This show will live on in our hearts. But where it truly must survive is in our actions, our compassion and our generousity of spirit towards one another." - Adam Pascal on the closing of RENT
I agree. It needed to be directed more for the cameras. Seemed like there wasn't anyone leading it. But then again, the whole show needed a stronger director in the first place!
