I enjoyed it it was pretty cool...I adore Christian Borle and Kate Shindle. The show is such a guilty pleasure and I'm glad they showed it...but the hosts were annoying and the commercials totally took you out of the moment.
did anyone enter the trivia quiz during the show? They just e-mailed the codes...
my friend won a 30GB ipod and i won a swELLE pack with LB merchandise...pretty cool :)
anyone else win something cool?

is anyone else having trouble playing back what they recorded? i taped it and nothing is coming back on my screen when i went to make sure everything was taped ok. does anyone know if there was a copyright that viewers were unaware of?
the irish dancing was kind of random.but the choreography was awesome now you guys should agree with me on this it should of one a tony for the choreography.
"your comparing legally blonde to mary poppins? how could you. Mary should fly down from on her magical umbrella and point at you so you get locked in a closet!"
I am not comparing the two, really. I am saying that overall, I believe Curtains, Spring Awakening, Grey Gardens, and Legally Blonde to be stronger shows than Mary Poppins. I saw Mary Poppins right after its opening in New York, and I also saw the London production a few months ago. I find it to be a manufactured bore, lacking any inventive staging or quality material.
Having seen every new musical that opened last year and was eligible, I feel qualified to share my opinion that Legally Blonde deserved the nomination over Mary Poppins.
You just watched it for free. Do you think MTV filmed and showed it because they are nice? Who do you think paid for everything?
Exactly. It seems stupid to complain about the people that are giving this show more publicity than they could ever afford on their own. PBS sure as hell would have never picked a show like this to archive; be happy it's on TV at all.

It was fun! Maybe it was better being there (the excitement and energy in the audience at the taping was crazy) but it was fun on TV. Laura Bell Bundy was great, she's adorable. We'll see if it wins the show new fans.
I saw myself on TV a bunch of times which was pretty dang neat :P
Not that I'm defending those Hills girls or anything (they're a bit dim) but has anyone else thought, seeing how they're such huge stars right now, that it was sort of neat of them to come and do this to help attract a broader audience?
Oh... and Legally Blonde is about 500 times better than Mary Poppins, which was even worse than Lestat. Or In My Life.
"I think it deserved a tony for Best Musical all the way."

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
but has anyone else thought, seeing how they're such huge stars right now, that it was sort of neat of them to come and do this to help attract a broader audience?
as long as you hand over that pay check.
I hear they will be at a Walmart opening in Wichita next week.

"I haven't left this building since Windows 3.1!"
"Celebrating a birthday this week: Rene Descartes is 412! Do you know who he is? Then why are you watching this show? You could probably get into college and even get one of those job things. As for the rest of us; Amanda Bynes is 22! Yay!" -E!'s "The Soup"
I think the show was gret on film and it made some of the luke warm numbers (Blood in the Water) look better then they actually are. I also felt the editing was a little too crazy, BUT it gave the show an energy that can be felt in theatre watching it.
I loved the show overrall, I was into the whole time. I taped it on vcr at home but i will try to record it from the vcr to dvr when i go home one weekend before thanksgiving break. I cant wait to see it on tv tommorow night at 7pm. I agree i hated the hills girls....they should have picked a better host/hostesses. Their interviewing was horrible. I did the quiz and i got a free ringtones. Congrats to the person who said their friend won the ifone/ipod.
I could only watch about the first half hour, but I really actually liked how they filmed it.
