From their FAQ:
Why aren't my seats together?
Although we make every effort to seat people together, the box office sometimes sends us an odd collection of tickets that are not side by side. We cannot guarantee that seats will always be together.

Yes, I read that on the website. Just wondering if that is typically what happens. Wouldnt mind if they did 3 seats together and then 2 seats, or all together. Wondering what people's experience has been when buying multiple tickets.

A thought: this annoying problem that still exists on the new site where you have to play musical chair dates only to find that one selection after another is not available- now sometimes you can find an alternate date that is still available but a lot of times every one listed is not available. I'm thinking that instead of deleting the show entirely or at least the not available dates, they are still listing it so you will get exasperated and move on to another offer. Thereby they don't lose a sale. Bait and switch. I hope not. I love TDF. I just wish they had left well enough alone.

We have 5 in my family, if we purchase 5 tickets (looking at Play that goes Wrong, and Radio City spectacular), is there a chance we will be separated or will they try to group us together. Just worried because I have 2 eight year olds and a 10 year old and they might be resistant to sitting alone. thanks for the help!"
I usually buy a pair, and those have always been together. There have been a couple times when I bought four tickets, and both times the four seats were all together.

I normally get 2 seats but I've got 3 and 4 numerous times as well and they have always been together.
Also considering how big of a theatre Radio City is I highly doubt that they wouldn't give you 5 together.

I had TDF seats for The Ferryman last night, a Monday. My friend and I had seats in Row P of the side orchestra; I had seat 16. When we sat down, we realized that all we could see is the head of the person in front of us, even though they didn't seem especially tall. (Some theaters stagger the seats so that you can see over shoulders, but not in this case.)
My friend asked for booster seats, and we sat on those. They were hard plastic and designed for kids. To say that my butt didn't fit properly on the seat is an understatement. (TMI? So sorry!) But at least we could see. It wasn't an ideal way to spend three hours, but the leg room was decent and it was full view (with the booster).

Apparently, the Jacobs has ONE soft cushion in the whole theatre. I asked for one when I saw The Ferryman, and the usher apologized and said that someone already took it, then showed me the pile of hard plastic ones.

Going over my bank statement, I find that I was billed for the SUMMER ticket, not once, but TWICE!!!! Of course the TDF offices are closed for the holiday weekend, so I can't talk to them about this. Grrrrr....

Has anyone seen the Prom? Interested to know the seat locations. Thanks!

My Prom tickets was center, Row D in the Balcony. I was kind of surprised! But that theater is pretty small so I didn't feel like I was missing anything.

My Prom tickets were far left side of the orchestra toward the back of the house.

I wasn't the one who asked, but I opened this thread to ask the same question, so thank you! Hopefully there are some more reports, my mom really wanted to see it so I grabbed a pair for us for next Friday.
