If Max lost, they would have offered him Doody, but I believe they had a Doody.

Posted: 3/25/07 at 9:14pmI am worried this version is going to be more like the movie and less like the Original Broadway show. Espc. with the abscense of Doodie (and I know for a fact that one was cast). I mean, "those Magic Changes" is one of the best songs in the show.

i definetly think they were waiting to see if max would get it or not because he would have been perfect for that role.
im sure they have a back-up.

Grease is suppose to be a spoof
Apparently in most productions: The only young people are Danny and Sandy. The rest are played by adults.

Sonny was Jose Restrepo. I don't think that Austin would be a good Doody. Has the guy playing Rodger been in Avenue Q as Brian?
The ppl. playing the rest of the cast might not have make-up on! That could make them look younger. Even the cast in the movie were old but still had a good image!

I wish they'd actually said their names instead of character names. Jenny was the only one I recognized, basically leaving me with knowing three cast members besides Danny/Sandy.
I'm really not seeing Jenny Powers as Rizzo, or Alison Fischer as Patty.
Can't they just post a cast list?
Glad for Laura and Max though.
