Just because she did a reading does not mean she did not get cast. readings are like week or two week engagements and many actors do them.
ACTORS ARE IN READINGS ALL THE TIME WHILE THEY ARE IN SHOWS. Oy seriously people, lets do try and make logical posts.

regnad: Eh? Where did you get the impression that I don't think people should judge the reality TV they watch? I've been judging right along with you.
yes but when is this reading? Cause if it is going on right now or within the next month then she couldn't also be Elle because rehearsals are all day. But if the reading is in August or September then yes she could do both.
Ok as I said in the other thread. THAT HAPPENS. a recent example. Aaron Tveit was in (late) rehearsals for Saved while filling in the Ashley Parker Angel in Hairspray.
I was referring to your comment on not judging Lauren based on her comment out of context.
Going out on a limb here, but I would think that the fact that there was a Photo Flash means that the reading already happened.
I thought it was one of those nifty footure-picture-takin' thingys.
The reading was yesterday. And of course I know that a lot of actors do them while they are currently working on shows. I just think if she was really cast as Elle, she would not be doing readings right now, while she would be getting ready to start rehearsals for the lead role of a broadway show.
...
thats the most asinine logic i've ever heard. If you were an actor, trying to break into the business would you not take every oppurtunity put in front of you? seriously.
As has been stated elsewhere, the winning contract is onle two weeks ~ no guarantees beyond that.
Obviously you'd take any opportunity because you don't know if those 2 weeks will extend or not.

I can't find the performances for episode 6 anymore!

I know this sounds weird but I have a friends who are replacements and this is the contract for everybody whether there they play a lead or ensemble you get two weeks of rehearsal for the role. it is strange but it is true. That gives them time to do readings in between. The reading was a few days ago.

They're not talking about rehearsal time, though. They're talking about the contract during actual performances.
Why are people still talking about the reading. She's an actress trying to get her feet wet in anything she can.The fact she is doing a reading, or did a reading, does not mean that she didin't win and is not in rehearsals right now.

Just remindng everyone, the Lauren "we all think you need to lose weight" thing could be a lot like the Seth "none of the judges wanted you back this week" comment.
While it makes Broadway look like "The Hills," it's better than GREASE: YTOTIW.
That being said, my top 3 (in order):
1. Natalie
2. Rihannon
3. Autumn

Can someone tell me where people are getting these spoilers from.
They're spoilers, they're not official therefore sometimes people can't go on record saying a specific person told them, especially since they can be sued for millions. If you read thorough the thread you would see a lot of the "spoilers" are coming from facebook postings, gossip around the cast, hints, things like that. Also some people are postulating because of how the show is edited. It was pretty clear that Celina (and probably Natalie were going to be eliminated because they "weren't Elle) or that Emma and Cassie S. because of how negatively they were portrayed. Anyone who watches reality TV can guess who the final 2 are going to be.

Oh please, emma was not edited poorly, she just IS poorly. If you watched her full performances, tehy wereen't good. as opposed to Cassie S who would get like 5 seconds of her performance shown, which would be the 5 seconds around the one mistake she made in the the entire performance.

I agree liverpool. I watched Cassie S' Omigod and I thought it was great. Editing made people misunderstand her talent and her as a person. Autumn even said in response to questions about Cassie S that they are baited into saying stuff and that editing place a huge part in the drama.

lol this might be the best line ever. hee.
Oh no, I can't stand Emma but I think if they had decided Emma was the winner they would have edited her better. The fact that they showed how terrible she was made it clear she wasn't going to win. I do love Cassie S. and I feel bad that they showed her in such a negative light.

So, you like Cassie S. and wish they hadn't showed her in a negative light, but you don't think Emma could POSSIBLY be different than the obvious "bitchy, spoiled brat" edit she was given?
I wasn't a huge fan of either of them, but I've watched enough reality tv to know that it's really dumb to judge anyone personally on the way they appear on television.
