Hoping someone here might know something...any sense on WHEN the show will actually start previews? Easily one if not the most anticipated play of the season and in a perfect world would love to see this, RAGTIME and CHESS in a Fall NYC trip. Got RAGTIME tickets already but eagerly awaiting what "Fall" means for the other productions.
Any insight? Would Fall mean September? November?
In 2023 Roundabout's production of I Need That started previews October 13, opened November 2, & closed December 30 after a one week extension.
But, it really depends on the availability of the stars.
Last year Yellow Face started previews September 13, opened October 1, & closed November 24.
Just noting that this is not a Roundabout production. It's a commercial production (Sonia Friedman, Sue Wagner, John Johnson, and Patrick Catullo are the lead producers) "in association with" Roundabout (meaning Roundabout gets to include it on their season subscription package) –– so any date precedent shouldn't have much bearing here.

Performances begin in November per the show website.

Going to immediately be the best show of the season. Can’t wait to see again 🤗
Did anyone hear of when the show might start performances over the weekend? I had heard early Fall and not November.

I assume Hiptix will be with the general on sale like Lincoln Center does ?
Perhaps there will be Hiptix available through the Roundabout site, but the Broadwayworld article says there is an exclusive TodayTix presale. Roundabout subscribers should also be able to access tickets today through the Roundabout site.

Well...prices seem in line with other Sonia Friedman star vehicles. From $82 in upper rear Mezz of Studio 54 to $369 for mid orchestra

Have never seen a production at Studio 54. How are the views from the Rear Mezz?

Far away and steep.

The view isn’t terrible, it’s the leg room. The leg room might be ok for Kristin Chenoweth but not for anyone taller — or wider — than her! Also not great on your neck.
I anticipate this will pop up on TDF and other discount programs for better seats. It’s primarily got “snob appeal,” meaning it’s got 6 weeks of great sales but will not sell on the level of something like Dorian or GN&GL. Despite its Oliviers and an Oscar nominee in the cast.

Some might call it a modern form of torture.

The view is okay from the first few rows of the rear mezz, but the seats are absurdly uncomfortable. Absolutely not worth it.

Roundabout subscriber service is telling people, who have called asking about ticket sales, they will be able to book their tickets "soon". That was about 30 minutes ago.

They told me sometime in the next 24 hours.

I avoid the Studio 54 mezz like the plague for all the reasons mentioned above, so I was glad to see some rear orchestra seats for 112

Thank you for posting this. I am a subscriber and never got an e-mail about on sale until I the notification from Today's Tix (not sure why Today's Tix would have the tickets on sale first) but thank you because I was able to hop on and get great seats (pays to subscribe).
