Is being 5'6" and best-known for starring in a fantasy film franchise now a requirement for the role?

Has he said yes?
It's easy to approach people, but another thing entirely to get them to say yes!

funny. I just finished watching Eternal Sunshine with Elijah with my film studies classes!
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

wow, I was hoping Leslie Jordan would be offered the chance to succeed (ha!) Radcliffe in the role. As with Promises, Promises, I really don't see that production continuing after Radcliffe departs. He's the only reason the thing exists in the first place.

I absolutely hated this production, but Elijah Wood would actually bring the interest enough to make me go back. Also, total GEEK OUT that Frodo and Harry Potter are sharing a role. I'm going to go marathon the LOTR extended editions now.

Katurian, you "absolutely hated" the production because of Ashford's work, or another reason(s)?

Darren Criss would be fabulous!

Any idea on when does Daniel Racliffe's contract ends?

I'd really, Really, REALLY love to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the role.

I am thinking it will just close when Radcliffe is done.

I adore Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but I think he's far too droll for the role.

I assume there will also be an inevitable Zac Efron is replacing Daniel Radcliffe rumor like there was with Equus.
