I've been obsessed with the cast album this past week and thought about some people who might make wonderful replacements later in the run once the current principals depart:
Jenna: Carmen Cusack/Caroline Bowman/ Stephanie Torns (would LOVE to her bumped up to principal or even do the role on tour!)
Becky: Katie Thompson/ Bonnie Milligan/Shauna M. Hamic
Dawn: Lindsay Mendez/ Annaleigh Ashford/ Jeanna De Waal/ Haven Burton/ Arielle Jacobs
Ogie: Rob McClure
Joe: Would kind've be fun to see George Hearn come back in a role like this!
Dr. Pomatter: James Snyder/ Kevin Massey/ Bryce Pinkham
Earl: Andy Karl/ Joe Tippett
Thoughts? Other people you would like to see in this show?
Christine Dwyer as Jenna would be phenomenal.
it would also be a nice beautiful renuion with Anika Larsen as Dawn and Jake Epstein or Jarrod Spector as the doctor.

I'd love to see Desi Oakley as Jenna, her voice is perfect for that music.

My dream is Orfeh as Becky and Carmen as Jenna. Talk about perfection
Totally support Orfeh as Becky all day!

I'd love to see Elle McLemore as Dawn. Adam Jacobs could be a great Dr. Pomatter also.
I can't help but think of how perfect Megan Hilty would be as Jenna.
If Katie Thompson played Becky, I would go all the way up to New York to see her.
William Popp starts as Earl on Sept. 23.

I didn't want to start a new thread but did anyone else notice that on playbill vault Jessie is no longer listed as Jenna but Stephanie Torns is? Did I miss something?
Whoa. What is up with that?

I would assume Jessie is just on vacation and needed Stephanie to cover for an extended period of time. I'm probably wrong though.

Laura Osnes as Jenna....
If that can't happen I think Caissie Levy would be great if she could nail the accent and tone of the material...
I saw Jessie on Sunday matinee. Surprised I didn't notice any outage notice on the website when I was buying the tix

It said "arrived Sept. 13" so must be new? I really really hope this is temporary because I wanted to see Jessie one more time

I feel like if she was gone for good they'd have made an actual announcement. The situation is just odd because a) no announcement about Jessie taking a leave of absence was made and b) if she is just on a brief vacation they don't usually change around the playbill. I just hope she's ok and we find out what's happening soon.
I just reached out to Playbill to hopefully get some more info about this.

If she's on a planned, extended vacation they really should have posted it on Ticketmaster. I'm on my phone so it's not easy to check that but I will later.

PlaybillVault strikes again. She hasn't left. They have a tendency toward huge errors.

Ok! Sorry to have started a panic! I was just so shocked when I checked playbill vault to see if they had updated who played Lulu and saw Jessie gone. I wanted to know if something had happened or if I'd completely missed something big.
To clarify, I reached out to them and they said "That's the casting this week. No accidents in the vault this time!"
She he is on vacation. I guess they took her out of the playbill for a week. American in Paris used to do the same thing when either of the two leads would go on vacation.
To be fair, I don't believe she is above the title, so no ticketmaster note, email or refund is required. You show up and get who you get.

And Stephanie got a standing ovation at the end of the show last night...
