Kali I love your avatar! I am so unbelievably psyched for the site! Everyday I think about how amazing this movie will be and how wide an audience it will reach. Knowing how much it has impacted our lives, think about the rest of the world having its impact. Jonathan Larson has given us all such a great gift. I am grateful for his work everyday of my life and can not wait until it is given to the world.

Awsome! I will say it again, this has been the cause for a minor heart attack. And of course my tutor decided to show up right as I found the link to the site so he was probably wondering why I was so jittery today. :-P

Well because you and I both know who Brian looks like that would also be a cause for being jittery though. Lol. Still. Pretty cool. This'll be fun.

I am soo excited!! I absolutely can not wait for the rest of the site to come up. I know we have all seen the filming pictures and had Anthony update us (as much as he could- Love you Anthony!) but now it seems like we just took a huge step closer to seeing it! I have been so excited for this that I have been secretly scared that something would fall through and we would have no movie Movie Website But now! Movie Website The site is almost up. Ok I will stop rammbling. This is what happens when I don't get my coffee in the morning.

I'm not sure the site is even up "officially" yet, since I haven't seen a link on the Sony site (but haven't looked really hard either.) Anyway, rather than have everything appear at once, it'll be fun to see things bit by bit.

HOORAY! Movie Website The excitement is still building! Yeah I like this "bit by bit" updating. It makes it more fun and we can savor it.

Honestly, the fact that I'm this happy over the website makes me worry slightly about my own mental health when the trailer, and more so, the movie comes out.

Anthony has posted!

Anthony,
First off, *running leap into your arms* WhiteboySpice, you live! You haven't posted on the broadwayworld board in so long, I was worried. But now you're posting on the movie site, just as good. But just because this is set up doesn't mean you have to go around neglecting us poor fangirls/boys who like to ask you things that have nothing to do with RENT on that board. *first pretends to sob, then smiles to show she means the above words in jest and is no way being mean to you* This must mean you're really busy, which is great. Tiring, I'm sure, but really great. It means so much to us RENTheads that it's the OBC in the movie and not some hot-flavor-of-the-month actor. *gets impatient* I wanna see trailers and pics and interviews, and why does November have to be so far away?
Love
Bethy

I think what we need to keep this board alive with questions and things until he has time to toddle back here and answer them. I had to go almost 10 pages back to find the board at all.

I'll start:
Anthony, do you have an opinion on RENT's chances at the Oscars?
(I can be optimistic if i want)

Wow I just had a confusing moment when I read your post incedniary_wit. I thought you mean he posted back on this thread again so I spent the next 5 min looking around for it thinking that something must be REALLY off in my brain to impaire my vision like that. :-P Then I realized what you meant and I stopped worrying about my mental health (sort of...) Yeah, conclusion: someone needs to get some sleep tonight.

Anyways, yeah this official site appearance and blogs is making me so happy. As I said before though, the fact that I'm this excited over the website makes me wonder how I'll be when actual movie clips start showing up. OK cue worrying about my impending mental health again......

I think it's safe to say that when La Vie Boheme comes up in the movie you're going to get up and start dancing, right? Lol. That would be funny. Don't worry about your mental health yet. It's Brian's I think we should worry about.

I'd dance during La Vie Boheme. No one would know who I am since it's dark in a theater. I hope everyone in the cast will post on the official site.

I would dance ON my seat when La Vie Boheme starts. People might say that I'm crazy but it's not like I haven't been called that before.

I wanna know when the trailor comes out too. That's something I've been dying to see for a while.
